Alberto of course was the AAA Mega Heavyweight Champion and is now the U.S. Heavyweight Champion after beating John Cena last night so we have an interesting situation here where Konnan said on the MLW podcast this morning that Alberto will work the rest of his dates for AAA which would make for some intriguing booking decisions. Alberto wasn't coming back to Lucha Underground anyway so that decision was pretty much locked in but interesting times are ahead folks.El Caristico the former Mistico stated last night that he had to finalize this new name because there was too much confusion from the fans to the wrestlers to even himself but it's time for a new era.
