Mickey Rourke having his fake boxing match against the homeless guy made me and Ed think of Derrick Dukes. Dukes was best know for being a terrible wrestler who was in the AWA for a hot minute. He then took a dive in a boxing match for Mark Gastineau. Yes THAT Mark Gastineau. I have also convinced myself that Dukes was on the cover of the 2nd National Sports Daily Newspaper but god forbid the fucking newspaper archives were online. There is so much going on in that second video. No your eyes aren't deceiving you - that IS Mark Curtis as a heel manager.

Hoo Boy - so yeah Abyss... He might be the perfect wrestler for TNA I especially like how that Joseph Park deal was fine and then went on like 6 months too long. I had thought I had done Abyss as WOTD but it just seems he has turned up in a lot of the other threads And if this wasn't posting in the Ridiculous TNA Matches thread it should have been. You can't score the Pin/Submission until you make your opponent bleed first

One year ago today, I started the WOTD with Eddie Guerrero (Since then it was the 8th anniversary of this death. Now it is obviously 9) Doing Vickie today allows me to continue a tradition and experiment a little. If I am alive in a year I can do another Guerrero.. God her final segment was stupid but I still remember how much it showed how all the other women LOVED her. I mean Steph taking the mud bath and Layla taking the fucking crazy ass pool bump.
