  1. I used to regularly go "WHAT IN THE FUCK IS THAT? ... Oh, never mind, it's just Robert."

My favorite, for some reason, was this speeding 18 wheeler going the wrong way down probably the busiest road in the game. I barely escaped getting splatted just in time to hear the boom. "Oh, Robert, that explains it."

There was one where I managed to chase down some dude, but in the process I completely mowed down Robert. He was completely perfectly under my car when the explosion went off. Crew-on-crew violence.

  2. THE THREAD LIVES!

There's some really good advice for Destroyers here: http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Destroyer_(Remnant)

Dunno if you're playing single-player or multiplayer, but I assume they're the same. Don't get too close. If you have a "chucking" weapon (sticky bomb, grenades, whatever), use those before you use guns. The big thing to remember: Their shields are stiff. Get rid of those first and then it should be easy after that. I prefer to save the Destroyers for last so four of us (in multiplayer) can jump on it at once.

Pretty dead, but not terminal: My playing schedule is as follows: I'll get on at night and play 2 games to get the daily mission funds. I then play the gold APEX mission (don't trust my troops to do it) and leave the rest of the APEX missions to my NPCs. Three games a night. I recently slipped from 92 to 94 in APEX while keeping up a fairly decent playing schedule. So there''s about 100, 120, maybe, playing. Finding Platinum games is terribly tough.

Multiplayer has spoken and finally came up with a standard weapon, the P.A.W. assault rifle. Your penis size is measured by having a Siphon P.A.W. or not. As usual, I prefer shotguns.

Got my ass whipped more than I whipped ass. Didn't mean to just disappear. Meant to turn the game off. Ended up turning the console off.

Back on the shit shift tonight and the rest of the week. Ourghta give Robert time to get a new headset!

  4. I ambled back into Los Santos for the first time in months, I guess, and proceeded to become King of the Nails. It was brutal. There were two guys who were kicking my ass up and down with all these bomber planes and whatnot near the airport. They got tired of beating hell out of me, so they tagged off to two red dots who immediately started hanging their shoes up my ass.

So I switched rooms. Fairly low levels, felt good about it, until I managed to get the attention of the high man in the room (Level 530 plus). He'd find some absurd way to kill me, then kill himself.

All of the bomber planes and exploding rounds have given the game this absolute war zone vibe. Shit just shakes while you stand and wonder "what now?"

  5. I think the Omega win is going to lead to Ibushi winning the G1 and going after Omega's title at Wrestle Kingdom.

Jericho's new character is neato - I think he's trying to prove to Vince that he has one more main-event run in him as this vicious heel, when Vince I guess has relegated Jericho to comedy/"The List."

  6. But why does it work OK on other online games and then like shit on GTA? I do have to check some of the port forwarding to make sure It's still right. Should be, but you never know.

As far as music, there was the time we tried to introduce Melraz to Eddie Vedder, which worked about as well as you think it would.

  7. I tried to join you last night,, but it was another one of those deals where I couldn't join your room to save my life.  Game kept saying I couldn't get into the room.

That''s what keeps me away more than anything - game's not fun anymore unless I'm playing along with friends, and I now can't join friends. Makes the whole thing pointless.

  8. Consumers can, and should, vote with their money against buying loot crates if it provides the buyer an advantage in PvP play. You shouldn't have to shell out $60 and then shell out more for better arms and armor just to keep up with other players who have idle money, and that sounds like what Anthem is going to be.

You can buy guns in Andromeda, but since the multiplayer is players against NPCs, it's actually to your advantage if your teammates have spent on better guns or characters. I liked the way Overwatch did it - buyable loot crates for cosmetic improvements only - and that would be fine. But gamers have the right to make their voices heard about the advantage going to the one with the most money.

  9. I was in a room by myself last night when a Level 26 joined. I noticed he was near Zancudo, but paid him no mind.

I started paying more mind when he came after me in a jet. I found a great bit of shelter and waited for him to crash. He obliged. The hunt was on.

He wasn't half bad. I had him 5-2 when I scoped him from across the viaduct and he must've figured "hell with this" and he left.

  10. I thought the races were fine. Some a little too stunty, but some seem plain..

I have that problem where I can't join a pack for a race (shows a room dump), so I'm lucky to have 2-3 to race with.

Lemme tell ya, I'm a complete hypocrite cussing players for using new toys when I can wear out someone even remotely sub-par with that heat-detecting heavy sniper. I had some Level 40 dude over my knee just punishing him.

  11. They're praying for more business after this becomes a Game With Gold pretty soon.

There's a loyal fanbase still playing, but it's sometimes hard to get, say, Magma/Outlaw matches even if the dailies are Magma/Outlaw.

My playing less than before has made me the guy who gets carried through a match - I die constantly, but when I'm alive I can wreak some havoc.I try to watch my pops, 'cause I only have 5 and I don't wanna screw up, run out and cost anyone a full evacuation. So people gotta pick me up when I fall down. And I fall down a lot. A whole lot.
