  1. Really who can hate a wrestler that tells a super computer "SILENCE" after he was complimented by that same computer?

That segment was great, the "silence" cracked me up at the time.Just watched the tag title match, which was really good although hurt by the hot tag being edited out for a bloody advert. I don't know if the pre show matched are even released on the DVDs, but assuming this makes it uncut on to the MITB set, it could be a viable contender for WWE tag of the year. Which is kind of damning it with faint praise, but still.
  2. I have no idea where I'd place Regal on a list like this. On the one hand, I loved him in the Ohno match and he has looked good in everything else. However, he's probably had little over 25 minutes aired ringtime this year, so it would be really hard for me to put him over guys who have had lots of good performances all year.

  3. Is it cynicism if the WWE fucks up their booking so much? Every time I put my hand in boiling water it gets hurt. You wouldn't call a person cynical if they said "No thanks, I won't put my hand in boiling water - It'll suck."

Good booking is subjective though, boiling water will always be boiling.
  4. I might have to track down the pro-shot version f that Necro/Jack match. Sounds like something that I'd enjoy, but I saw a fan can version that for me was borderline unwatchable.

Definitely agree with Cesaro as number 1, the Bo Dallas and Kofi Kingston matches just really showed him at his best, he's done so much with not a whole lot of opportunity (good match times on the b-shows aside).

  5. Just watched the ladder match, pretty much everything from the ladder-assisted figure four leg lock was really good stuff. Outside of the leg lock, I really liked the dragon sleeper off of the ladder and Taryn's dive off of the top, which was a great and really logical spot to boot. Finish was pretty damn good too, nice and creative. I've not seen their highly praised PPV match, but I think I'm gonna have to go back and give it a watch.

  6. The attack itself wasn't great but the entrance and the vignettes were excellent. Very good atmosphere, and consistent.

Great initial reaction from the crowd as well, lots of high pitched screams/cries from the kids and women. I just hope they don't get bogged down in a Kane fued for too long, because I'm not sure that even Bray's promos could carry that enough.

  7. I don't think they quite care so much about that any more. Hell, I know it's only the US Title, but I remember Bryan getting put over strong the Raw before Night of Champions 2010, then going on to beat Miz for the belt. London & Kendrick had weeks of clean wins over MNM as well, before beating them for the belts at whatever PPV that was. I'm sure there are a bunch more high profile and recent examples too, but those are just a couple off the top of my head. That being said, I kinda think Bray Wyatt will be inserted into the match and get the nod, and cash in after a long period. Has the MITB winner ever had an "entourage" to help him out? Was Edge with Hawkins and Ryder at the time he had the briefcase?

  8. Cheers, I knew there was one tournament that tended to have every match aired. Hopefully the bulk, or indeed all, of this sees the light of day, as there really is a ton of tasty looking matches. I echo the curiosity for Minoru Suzuki vs Kota Ibushi - that could be so much fun.
