  1. Easily the best ever three hour Raw I'd say. I literally didn't skip one segment, and considering I normally get through it in an hour or less, that's some accomplishment. Still nothing amazing, but a great opening segment with Cena, a couple of really fun matches in Harper/Ambrose and Show/Bryan and a dramatic closing angle. Works for me.

  2. Has anyone ever gotten a good match out of Axel? I mean good, not "nothing technically wrong, but still insanely boring."

Maybe he's gonna be the future of the company. He's gonna be a big time player in this machine called NXT. He's the next big thing. He's the next generation. And starting this moment, from now... From this moment on... This'll be the moment, starting now, of the genisis of Curtis Axel.

But really, I'd expect him to be more Brodus Clay and less Tyson Kidd as far as NXT rehab projects go.

He worked Sin Cara on Superstars recently and it was *really* good. Clearly a guy who was trying to make the best of what he had in terms of card positioning, and Sin Cara more than did his bit as well.

  3. Something along the lines of this would be fun. I can't see them going with Ziggler against HHH, but that would be a great match for him over another mid-card IC title defence.

  4. Between the great main event, a teased Titus push, Sasha vs Charlotte and that one Rosebud in the little black dress - this was one of the better Main Events in recent memory. Crowd were not biting on E&C's comedy routine at all, but Rose did fine and his girls were smoking hot.

  5. Steph finally shows ass and it's perfect.

Finally? I know her character is protected more than most but she was thrown face first it to a paddling pool of what they tried to sell as shit a couple of months ago. That being said, yeah she was great here.
  6. The first three quarters of the show was pretty forgettable, but I loved the main event. It looked like Titus was really making Sami fight for his comebacks, made the whole thing looks way more credible. I hope Titus sticks around for a while, I'm liking this run.

  7. Really? Maybe because I actually watched the opener live and unspoiled which I normally don't, but I really enjoyed that tag match. Best Sandow has been allowed to look in ages, and whilst there were a couple of ropey moments (Truth isn't going to be perfectly replicating any of Dolphs moves any time soon) I thought it was really good. Skipped out on the rest of the show though.

  8. I thought Smackdown was a really tight show this week, nothing was less than watchable and it made for fun TV that breezed by. Surprised to see Miz job out that quickly, but the following brawl was great, as was the Randy decimation of RVD. Swagger/Rollins and Wyatts/Rhodes Bros were damn good TV matches, and both Sin Cara/Rusev and Natalya/Paige were fine fare too. Tom Phillips wasn't bad on commentary either, he slipped on names a couple of times, but he wasn't instantly buried by JBL so that's something. JBL made a good point in the opener about Swagger doing the Swagger Bomb out of instinct and adrenaline, so I'd chalk tonight up as a minor commentary win too. Randy took that Superman punch like a pro to close the show.
