  1. What stinks about this YouTube controversy, and this was happening before the controversy, is that a lot of these promotions that were doing tv shows and posting them on YouTube are going the paid streaming route, whether its teaming up with like a Highspots or a Powerbomb, it doing their own thing. I'm a guy with very limited funds so I won't be watching them there. I pay enough in TV, Netflix, WWE Network and Amazon as it is, at some point my broke ass gotta feed the family too

  2. I've been binge watching Game Sack videos on YouTube and been getting a Loy of spots of Fate of the Furious before every episode and one of them has the Rock pushing away a damn torpedo. I could not stop laughing at that one.

I know they've always been ridiculous but man this next one is going to be fun. I can't wait to see this one next week.

Were they geeks that probably didn't know how to scrap anyway or was this a rumble on the horizon.

I got bent out of shape a few weeks ago when my woman and I went to see Get Out.  Someone kept slamming into her movie seat but when I peeked around to deal with it, the perp turned out to be a fourteen year old kid with restless legs.

    Innocent enough, but still annoying.

Stern yet ambiguous words indirectly aimed at the parent were sufficient enough to encourage curbing the behavior..

"What's wrong, baby?  IS SOMEONE KICKING YOUR CHAIR~?"

    Problem solved.

Parents generally want to do the right thing with their kids when they're in public, so give them the opportunity to do so.

This is why I love the theater I go to, they renovated all the theaters so that there's recliner chairs and so much space between the rows, so that there's no way of kicking the seat in front of you.

  4. I'm cautiously optimistic on it. I do like how they're portraying Aquaman. The bit near the end of the trailer with him riding the Batmobile makes me think he'll be a more adult version of his Brave and the Bold version. I would love it if that were the case

I get the sentiment but what promoters/promotions in wrestling are actually decent people? Do any promoters give a shit whether a guy has a concussion or has a drug issue or is one bump away from a severe injury?

Edit: it's a low-bar but is Vince McMahon really the scuzziest person in wrestling? Hell, even in (former) promoters in his own company isn't Heyman guilty of a lot more awful shit in how he handled ECW, not just financially but in turning a blind eye to the rampant drug use?

I'm sure there are decent promoters out there, a lot just don't pay a lot. I heard of one who didn't pay at all, they just got tv time and exposure that way. For a lot of guys I talked to, they didn't mind it because it led to them getting paid bookings later on.

I am assuming it is this entire thread (click on the tweet)

There is also a side tangent I guess of people bitching that Chikara only pays their students $30 per match

Thanks. Thats what it was, i couldnt remember the wrestler that was being referenced. Though i didn't know about the students getting paid $30 deal. And people are outraged by that? Sounds normal in the world of independent wrestling to me.

  7. And with more tv options becoming available, ie Netflix, Amazon, Hulu original content, etc, ratings will continue to not look as good as it did compared to the Attitude era, which is why I believe the WWE trouts out those other numbers, trending, YouTube views and all that as positives because fans are using other methods as well as tv to consume their WWE wants

So, is he saving the Madden tournament finals for Mania?  God damn it.  I don't care about Travis Kelce.

I'm not able to link but a video uploaded today explained due to Seth's injury it hasn't been filmed yet, so yeah I'm betting we'll see it at Mania since that's probably when both rosters will be together again.

I thought Styles-Cena from the Rumble was already meant to be the reaction to that?

If that's the case then It's a good response but I think was overshadowed by the Rumble itself and had a lot of Super Cena not doing enough selling, a great match nontheless.

I bet Rippa is right though, Vince probably does think Shane and AJ can deliver, probably om Shane taking unreal bumps like the table spot or the top rope Dragon Suplex spot that was in the Okada/Omega match
