I've not had Space Raiders but they're more similar to Monster Munch. They're puffed corn pickled onion crisps. They're delicious. Tangy, kinda sweet, strong pickled onion flavor. Looks like they're made in Ireland but I didn't realize they were exclusive to there. I figured they were all around the UK.

Sounds like Space Raiders. I used to have an unhealthy addiction to the beef ones, and spicy Bikers. They were 10p a packet, how could I resist?

  2. This is some kind of promotional video for Bassil Battah (and his brother George), a Lebanese/Venezuelan wrestler and promoter who was running a building in New Mexico by the early 60's. Anyway, they're billing him as the world lightweight champion, and Gordon Solie is selling the shit out of Bas all the way through. George is interviewed then takes on a Mummy, Bassil gets interviewed then takes on an inexplicably masked Cowboy Bob Kelly, the match is fucking aimless and not any kind of showcase at all. Neither looks good and Kelly looks a bit frustrated in his body language, conducting a late, half heated blading on Bassil. There's not even a finish, maybe there really were 15 parts of this nonsense, rather than the 5 posted. Video quality is so shite you can't even see if there's any crowd, even if there is, the crowd noise is clearly dubbed. I wonder if Solie did more of this kind of thing, and how much he got paid for this. Not enough, anyway.

  3. Yeah, I watched The Night Manager on the BBC. It was fine, but I didn't really find it engaging, and wasn't as impressed with the flashiness of the production as others seemed to be.

Line Of Duty finished up last night on BBC with a 90 minute episode and it was superb. It's like an internal investigation based cop show, got a bit silly at points but kept up the tension. Might want to watch the previous two runs of the show, but it's not really vital. Lindsay and Dot were great character performances especially.

  4. In Scotland stuff - Hibs beat Dundee Utd on penalties to reach the cup final, game was terrible but a tubby hero was born as the Hibs goalie -who hadn't played for something like 2 years- turned in a man of the match performance. The Old Firm semi final starts in about 15 minutes, should be more interesting at least.

My beloved East Fife won the fourth tier after a draw with Clyde, I'm dreaming big and giving us 3 years 'til relegation.
