  1. Matt Flynn may be the luckiest guy since the NFL started throwing millions at players. I think he only had one good game and that was like forever ago and still made so much more money than most Americans combined.

Mark Sanchez too, but at least we got to witness his castration. That's so much fun. The smug bastard.

  2. Also, JBL had that one segment in which he was on border watch; had charisma; and didn't get the "boring as fuck but a good worker!" line.

Gawd I wish JBL would stop sucking on commentary. What the fuck happened.

Re: Ziggles. A traveling champion? 45 minutes? Ziggles reeks of a guy thinking too hard in his promos while sounding like a little girl and his offense is non-existent. No one would show up to watch an hour of that.

I am gonna go with AJ. I think if this was 15 years ago when there was really only one or four divas around, it would've helped her at lot better. A lot of people proclaim she is the *only* diva the crowd gives a shit about.. Well, she can't keep them invested into her matches. Some shit. Not even in the usual 2 minute matches on Raw. =/

  3. Oh and looks like WWE is up to their old tricks. I was wondering where Kaitlyn was and now she shows up randomly in a feud she's not involved in and takes the fall. I bet someone WRONGLY thinks she needs to lose weight..

Or it could be that Brie is the chick pushed as the top face of the titties this month. Unless Trish or Lita was involved, the WWE in the last 15 years has really never bothered to showcased more than two women in fueds at a time on a show. Or it could be that the only thing Kaitlyn is good for is her spears and Diva matches are THAT short, mostly.

  4. I don't get why people are so hung up on Christian. Nor do I get the love for ADR. He can't possibly be doing THAT much business in Mexico.

They're both better at laying out matches than the majority of the roster. Del Rio is probably the best heel wrestler in the company because his offense looks credible but he shows enough ass to keep people from cheering him. He knows how to let wrestlers beneath him on the totem pole get in a little offense without making himself too weak. He also makes things really easy for faces to garner sympathy with the way he works them over. The Ziggler and Christian matches are good examples. He's also one of the few gameplan wrestlers on the roster, and by executing his matches with what appears to be a legit agenda, Del Rio creates a more detailed continuity to his matches.Christian is a great underdog wrestler who really excels in cat-n-mouse matches, where he attempts to outwit stronger wrestlers. He's also believable as "survivor" who could possibly pull out an upset win through some veteran tactics. It's difficult to be an underdog, while still looking credible with your successes, and he can pull that off. He's also really good at selling body parts to give himself an out for his losses. More faces that are in jobber mode could learn from that.
So what's the point when no gives a shit about you? People for a few years now have been proclaiming that ADR is 'great worker' but I don't see how when he can't sustain any interest.. And he is one of the few guys on the roster who didn't waste time jobbing to much, much less nteresting people. Then again, my biggest gripe with WWE tv is how they don't seem to give a shit that more than 80% of their roster can't move a crowd even if they started shooting rounds off before their matches.

  5. So, got lost in Youtube again and found this:

Poor Daniel Bryan at the end. haha

On an unrelated note, I think the role missing the most on WWE right now is a legit bad ass presence. I am not talking about someone who is booked to dominate everyone or someone who people fear because he is a crazy fuck. I am thinking more Taker 2000 - 2004. Like, people knew not to fuck with him because he would whoop your ass. Yet, he was well respected because he has been around forever and you wanted to watch something at a bar with him. Like there's was such a believablity to the character.

One of my favorite lines I've ever heard on a TV show was from Taker. It was the start of the Invasion and he somehow go lured to the parking lot where all the WCW jobbers were waiting and he told them, "What? You guys couldn't get tickets?" He proceeded to fight all 20 of them by himself. I don't remember what really happened after that. In my head, he just piled bodies on top of each other.

  6. I hope Cena's return isn't just some plot to get try to get heat on ADR. Is there a guy that has been pushed as hard to recieve so damn much apathy the crowd? It would be a waste of a good crowd reaction.

  7. I think they need a crazy, drunken grandmother that goes around and hits people with her crane and eventually tries to hook up one of the better looking divas with Bray.

What's Mae Young doing these days?

  8. I don't get why people are complaining about the finish. There have really only been a handful of finishes on PPV since 2010 in which the good guy(s) won and the bad guy(s) disappeared into nothing. Batista after a match with Cena; Wade tapped like a bitch; Wade got buried under a bunch of chairs; and Punk at MiTB 2011.

I am not the most avid WWE watcher, so I might be way off. But non-finishes on PPV happen. Jeez.

Also, I really don't get what is so wrong about the Bellas. Brie has been doing her womanly DB-Lite impression (minus the charisma and athleticism) in matches and Nikki just stands around looking good in short dresses. They probably don't do much to get the crowd going, but whatever Brie does it 100000000X better than whatever the fuck Natayla does. Her idea of a babyface comeback is to instantly kick up and hit a fucking suplex then go right into a sharpshooter. Jebus, Natayla would probably be the worst woman worker the company has ever had if Beth didn't stay for so damn long.

  9.

Everybody agrees that people like Tina Fey, Amy Poelher...are hilarious super talented people

Yeah, gonna have to disagree with you on that one...

So who do you find funny?  I understand not liking their comedy, but I find it a little facetious to deny their talent.  Can you name two women who have been funnier over the last 5-10 years or so?

So, you are saying they are kinda defaulted into the slots of the funniest women? Fey didn't catch on until Sarah Palin came around and Poehler is at least 5 kinds of annoying.

  10. Is this like that every darn argument on the internet that has the basis of "Just because it is popular, doesn't mean it is good?" Gawd, I hate those things.. Especially when music is the topic. If you don't like something, you don't have to be an shithead to other people who do like it.

Anyway, I've always gotten into shows long after they have been cancelled. I am not much of a TV watcher, so when people talk about how great a show is, I just shrug my head. I've gotten into Monk recently. I think it is possibly the best crime/drama show I've ever watched an episode of. Original, great acting, and amazing writing. It was around for 8 seasons, so it was doing something right. It won awards left and right too. Plus, Ted Levine = hot...

I personally think Big Bang Theory and the likes are fucking awful. I tried watching an episode and thought, "Is this suppose to be funny?" Then again, it was that one with the main character bitching about leaving his flash drive at home. If this was good TV is, then damn.

  11. In recent memory, the Wyatt Family. I don't even remember if it was against Kane or R-Truth. Still don't know what exactly is being done with them.

I'll second this. Since the night they debuted I really want to like them. Bray can obviously talk. I've read great things about Harper. But when I see Harper and Rowan wrestle all I see is slow and plodding big guy offense. It's a campier version of D.O.A.
I feel like I am the only one not sold on Bray. Maybe because I think he is doing the goddamn Electric Slide in his promos. It just loses me.
  12. Re: Barrett 's problem is that they did an amazing job turning him into 'just another dude.' Back in 2010, the guy came seemingly from bumfuck nowhere and was easily one of the most noticeable guys on the show. Tall, handsome, poise, and one hell of a smooth talker. I stopped watching weekly in 2006, so my reaction to him was "Where in the heck did they find this guy?" And judging by the reactions on the show and online, I wasn't the only one. Fast forward one year later, he is jobbing to fucking Zeke and his heat hasn't been there since. Tapping like a bitch to The Miz ain't gonna help anyone. Plus, they're so stop and go with Barrett, even big fans of the guy (I.e. me) have been conditioned to not give a damn.

Re: I think Big Show is at his best when he is literally squashing dudes. Not just one or two, but a squadron. I fucking loved that match in 2009 with him vs any asshole they could find on the Raw roster. My personal favorite is the Summerslam 2010 match with Punk's band. The visual of Luke Gallows rubbing his nipples after being slapped by Show is something we all need more of.

We need more big motherfuckers being big motherfuckers in wrestling. :(
