Man, they really missed out on something with the Mickie James match.
That's when Kana was in her "Sexual Harassment Panda" phase.

Have you ever wanted to go to Thailand and train in Muay Thai with Meiko Satomura? Now for just $2500, you can.

I think people comparing Asuka to Kairi are a bit off base, besides both being Japanese their styles and method of connecting with the crowd are totally different. Asuka is a charismatic asskicker, Kairi is a passionate feisty underdog. Because Asuka got over with American fans doesn't mean that Kairi will, it depends on what type of situation they put her in and if she gets an opportunity to do what she does best which isn't ever guaranteed in WWE Land. I hope she does well as she is easy to root for, I just don't think she'll appear in NXT and be over from the start like Asuka was. Asuka and Shinsuke are special cases, not the norm that we should expect from most foreigners that start in WWE.
WWE hit a home run with Asuka's WWE entrance, starting with Corey Graves creaming his jeans by her appearance at Takeover: Brooklyn standing next to 2 Hall of Famers. Flair and Slaughter actually seemed like afterthoughts. Then the promos and constant talk on NXT primed her perfectly to get over with fans. I'm interested to see how they play the Hojo arrival.

I don't see Hojo lasting three years in WWE/NXT. I just don't see her brand of babyface going over well and I can see her being injured a lot with all the shows she'll run. But good for her if she wants to get out of her comfort zone. The Mayu thing is more troublesome because she could be the ace of Stardom (or any promotion) if she put her mind to it.

They're gonna be showing the Act documentary at the UC Berkeley film school on April 6th. The director and Act herself will be on hand for a Q&A session.

Is Kris Wolf the first gaijin wrestler to start training/debut with a Joshi promotion and win a title? Off the top of my head I can't think of any women that started in Japan without any prior experience at all, let along then won a championship. Amazing Kong got her early success in Japan but was trained before going, same with Monster Ripper.
She was training MMA in LA when Zenjo asked Inoki if he had a replacement for Aja Kong. She did have some basic wrestling training but basically had to start from the beginning in Zenjo.

Now, the first ever WOMEN OF HONOR camp will be held to search for the next great WOMEN OF HONOR stars as well as two competitors who may earn a tour of Japan with STARDOM!
This all-day camp is for female competitors only and will take place on Saturday March 18th from 9AM to 6PM at the ROH DOJO in Bristol, PA. Additionally, portions of the camp will be filmed and broadcast on STARDOM WORLD!
AT LEAST one female wrestler who attends will be selected for a tour of Japan with Stardom, taking place from June 4th through August 13th, and all will be evaluated by both WOMEN OF HONOR and STARDOM decision makers!

Not that I ever thought Cass would be great, but most of his chances went up in smoke once Braun Strowman started showing improvement.
For as big as he is, he's not that strong. Of course not compared to Strowman but Corbin is much stronger than him as well. This is apparent every time he has trouble hitting that sidewalk slam type move.

If we're going to stretch the "hugger" thing that far then her finisher should really be the bear hug.
She can do both.

I don't know if this is the same version they watched or not - but Alvarez and Meltzer where talking about the Cody chair shot and Alvarez was saying he could see it being an optical illusion and it actually hit Dijak's chest/shoulders (he wasn't saying that is what happened but that could be the case)
Either way - both were of the opinion of why the fuck are you doing that spot in 2017?
If you watch it close, he got his hand up and Cody didn't follow thru. It sounded way worse than it was.

That is a microcosm of Atlanta sports. It's not the losing that kills you, it's the hope. This team will never recover. Honestly, I wonder how long it will take the city to recover.

Unfortunately Momo Watanabe was injured during training and will be out for months. In general this sucks, but I was liking how she progressing in QQ so this even more disappointing to hear.
For some reason, just recently too, every time I see Momo Watanabe's name, I read it as Momo Nakanishi.

Not sure if this has come up previously. Meltz on Act vs Yoshiko:
W. T. F.
I can certainly believe that about Taiyo. She had a tendency to be stiff with Act, even more than usual.
I never bothered to find out Syuri's last name, but here it is.

Point to the spot on the doll where Shane touched you....
It's funny, I was medium excited for his return. The Taker match was fine, if not stupid. I have no problem with him as a GM, but seeing him (rumored to be) booked against AJ at Wrestlemania just set me off.

I think we are getting -
Goldberg (c) v Lesnar - Universal
Cena (c) v Orton - WWE
Triple H v Rollins
Undertaker v Reigns
Jericho v Owens - US
Wyatt v Harper
Styles v Shane O'Mac
IC Title Ladder Match
RAW Women's Fatal 4 WayStrowman and Corbin to be the final 2 in the Andre Battle Royal. Maybe a Sami Zayn upset if they want to pay that off.
SDL women, tag teams and Neville down on the pre-show.
No idea what Joe does.
See, Shane can suck a bag of dicks because for all the complaining about Taker showing up only for Wrestlemania, he is (was) still a wrestler. Shane gets to act like a pervy backwoods promoter who's aunt died and left him some money so he can afford to bring in the Rock 'n' Roll Express, Kamala and Marty Jannetty and book himself over everybody. Except Shane gets to do it on the biggest wrestling show of the year.

Thinking about this further, it's January 31 and we really have no idea who John Cena's opponent at WM is going to be. The rumor going around was Joe but how in the world do they get there based off current storylines.
Maybe they really do go with Orton vs. Cena but holy shit that would not be good.. I think they should just do the original plan and go with Cena/Taker.
I would be very happy with a WM card that looked like this
Goldberg vs. Lesnar
AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton
John Cena vs. Undertaker
Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Owens
Braun Stroman vs. Roman Reigns
Fill in the rest...
Don't forget Big Show vs Shaq.
