Asuka is great, but slowing down to match a green opponent is not a skill I've seen from her in NXT. The best matches have been against experienced opponents (Bayley and Emma) or near-squashes where the whole point was to get Asuka over as a badass. I'm not saying she's trying to show Eva up, but that's the effect it had.
On their matches with Carmella, Carmella has improved a lot over the last 9 months, so I'm not sure that's a fair comparison either.
That Cameron match was a squash, though. Cameron at least looked competent in getting her ass beat. Asuka had to literally stand there for seconds at a time to wait for Eva to get her offense in. Whoever planned out this match should be suspended for months. (Or whoever told them to plan it that way) That match was 10 minutes, ffs.

My big takeaway is they either have miracle workers at the PC or all that footage Aaliyah filmed for Breaking Ground was faked. She looked great for a TV* debut. (*Apart from that Battle Royal) Revival picked up the "Beautifully Violent" squash ball that Emma dropped when she went up, perfectly.

I can't see either of those guys being anything other than somebody else's lackeys. So, it's either Finn, AJ or Roman. This might be as good as it ever gets for them once Cena, Rollins and whoever else come back.

I checked out a Stardom match with Diamond/Viper vs Kyoko/Kris Wolf. Kyoko looked awful(and old) and Viper was really disappointing. I was hoping for Earthquake/Bundy or even Sawai, but Viper works so light. Thought she might have had some potential as the resident big girl.
Viper is so afraid of hurting anybody that she barely makes contact. No idea if that's how she is in Europe.

I'm pretty sure they're all Korakuen Hall shows, if I remember right, so they probably made TV. I know Takeuchi's debut match made TV. I used to have all the Gaea TVs from that time, but not anymore.

I have never seen a cheaper airline ticket on these sites than you can get by spamming Orbitz, Kayak, Expedia, Priceline, etc for a few weeks to see the trends and then strike when the prices fall to a point you've decided you are willing to pay. Especially as the OP is looking for tickets so far in advance. Warning, the New Year's period is a popular one, so the tickets probably won't come as cheap as an October ticket. Ben, you might as well throw an entry into this contest to win airline tickets.

Nattie is wildly overrated by fans. Like Johnny said, she's inconsistent. The biggest problem I have with her is she thinks she's some athletic wrestler like Edge, but at times looks like she's completely stopped when doing her running moves.
I don't have a problem with Sami losing to Jericho via some dirty shit, that's how he'll get his underdog persona over.
I'm also not that upset about Owens losing to Ambrose. It seems to me that Owens is one of those guys that can always be a threat no matter how many times he loses. He can instantly go into the main event or put somebody over to get that person into the main event. And the crowd still buys him as a threat. And they've managed this in less than one year.
Here's what I think will happen at Payback, spoilered because I'm 74% sure this will happen.
SpoilerAnderson and Gallows will come to ringside for the title match at Payback. But instead of helping AJ, they will turn on him. This will lead to them joining the Roman Empire. Roman said something last night in his promo (that is mysteriously missing from the WWE Youtube clip) about "We are building the Roman Empire". Is it possible that WWE Creative is that subtle?

Slam weekend. They could've had their biggest audience ever this year if they had access to a bigger building.
They're having an NXT show Summerslam weekend, right? Is this not a "Takeover" show then?

The most impressed I've been in the last year with an "Indy" female wrestler in NXT was Evie. And she got her ass kicked. I know she's been in Stardom and is from New Zealand but nothing else about her. I'd like to see more of her if that means signing her full-time or whatever, fine. And I'm perfectly happy to have Santana Garrett be full-time in NXT regardless of any time she spent in Shine.

It's hard to assume she'll break out any time soon when she's not even the top person doing a "Jersey girl" gimmick on the NXT roster (even if Carmella's technically from "Staten Island", they're basically the same thing), much less a big prospect.
This guy didn't seem to have a problem starting out with a bad gimmick/outfit.
