One person we haven't mentioned when talking about Japanese women getting poached by WWE is Hana Kimura. She's got a great look and is already about as good as the average NXT woman now. I don't know if she speaks English but I'm pretty sure she understands it. Of course, WWE might still be smarting from the last teenage woman they signed.

I'm assuming he means it's in Hojo and Io's court now, he's made his offer.

Wherever that Maki fan is, hopefully he's watching on Thursday.

And now for something completely different....I had a dream last night that Toyota and Hokuto were wrestling in WCW. Toyota won with a Last Ride Powerbomb into a Figure 4.

Well, apparently 2ch is adding Hikaru Shida, Makoto, and Hiroyo Matsumoto to the list of women talking to WWE.
No way they'd bring in that many Japanese women for anything other than the Women's Tourney. I was saying that Matsumoto would seem a natural for that.

Um, so how is this gonna jibe with the Lucha Underground appearance that hasn't been broadcast yet? Is somebody gonna end up suing somebody or will LU just not show it?

There you go, but this is available on HD at SamuraiTV On 11/1 in AJW Classics #126
Thanks, it only has the first two falls, though. (sad face)

Got a request. There was a Shimoda/Toyota vs Double Inoue tag title match on 6/22/1996. Haven't been able to find it online. Anybody got a link for it?

Reminds me somewhat of when Megumi Fujii "fought" Mariko Yoshida in Arsion.

Gino is probably the biggest tragedy of WCCW - I'd not seen or heard of him before watching the WWE documentary and then going to look up some of his matches. He'd have been the top man in WCW I bet
He was my first favorite wrestler. All my friends were about the Von Erichs, but Gino was my man.

Sakura Hirota looks like she's taking an indefinite hiatus from wrestling at the end of the year to try and start a family. She's having a special "final" show in December.
Not sure anybody remembers this but Hirota announced that she's pregnant. And she's having twins. They are due in March.

Watched the Saori vs Mimura match from Shin-Kiba. Only slightly more interesting than the fact it went to a time-limit draw is that the referee was none other than the original red shoes ref himself, Daichi Murayama. If he's reffed Stardom matches before, I've sure as hell missed it.

That's a double post.

You know what the funny thing is about WWE buying TNA's library? Vince now owns Jeff Jarrett's entire career.
Ah, shit. Vinny Mac bought some of One Eyed Willie's gold?

This gif reminds me of a Dominique Wilkins poster I had as a kid. It was a giant picture of the dunk below at the 1988 Dunk Contest and seeing the individual reactions was fascinating.

Also am I the only one who has been impressed with Natsumi lately I think Elvion said he was, but she's turned from somene who I thought was going to be nothing more than a lower card comedy wrestler to someone I would like to see get a high speed title match with Mayu.
I said she had the most enjoyable match for me at the Osaka show over the weekend. Some of that was Kimura, but she also showed some more nuances to her personality than just getting to her signature pose.

So Kris did end up with stitches under her chin. Weird, because I never saw blood on her chin and it looked like blood was coming from her mouth when she went to the back.

Yea it didn't show up in their pictures, so either it was really late in the match or they intentionally didn't post pictures of it. Or both.
It was early. She was holding a towel to her chin thinking she was bleeding from the outside but I'm pretty sure it was inside her mouth because I could see blood coming out. That's probably why it was so many stitches too.

Who got 12 stitches?
That would be Kris Wolf. She and Toni Storm were paired up on the "let's take it to the outside spot" and I assume she just took a bad bump into the chairs.

Anyone else a fan of scrappy underdog, Natsumi Maki?
Today's show in Osaka was your typical Osaka show but I will say that I thought Natsumi had the most interesting match, if not the best, with Kimura. Had to leave before the main event so that might have been better.
Speaking of Tessa, I'm 53% sure she went into business for herself tonight. All of a sudden her and Kagetsu start no-selling their stuff. After the match, I'm pretty sure I saw KLR stop Blue Nikita from going after Tessa. Maybe Ricochet being in attendance gave her some entitlement. Also, it looks like Kris took a bad shot to the jaw to the point that Kimura almost pulled her out of the Oedo Tai/Foreigners tag match.

Went to the GP final show today. No points for guessing who the winner was. HANA was the surprise Oedo Tai member in a 6 person tag match with her mom. She had quite the outfit on that I'll have to find a picture of. But Kay Lee Ray won the day for having the loudest single chop in recorded history.

Look at this match from a show yesterday at Shin Kiba.
