  1. I had not watched any Correia fights and just assumed that Ronda would most likely win in a walk as usual.  After watching that fight with Baszler above...yeah, I don't see anything that Correia has for Ronda.  Just the fact that Baszler was so easily able to get into a clinch with her is a tell on what Ronda will be able to do.  And the fact that she hit Shayna with about 30 full power strikes and she didn't go down shows that she most likely won't be able to drop Ronda before she ties her up and throws her down to the mat which would be her best chance.  She looked like an impressive striker but someone will need to really rock Ronda to beat her and it doesn't look like it will be Correia.

Just curious, how have you not seen any of her fights? You being an elder statesman on this sub forum I find it curious.

  2. On a lighter note, I noticed that with Tyson Kidd, Erick Rowan and Jey Uso all out long-term, their partners all have nothing to do. Why not stick them together?

Luke Harper, Cesaro, Jimmy Uso: TEAM LIMBO.

Reminds me of one of my forgotten favorite teams of all time, The Gangstanators. It seems like simple booking to put two over baby face tag team wrestlers together to create a super team, though I can't recall any other dream teams.
  3. -The celebrity cameos were good when they were voicing a new character, but when they kept bringing in people to play themselves it just kept getting awful (the lady gaga episode is a prime example).

I caught this during a mini marathon last week, it was so bad I had to google it. Turns out it was voted worst episode, which was the result I expected.

  4. Watched the original Mad Max films, it was fun to see all the influence they had on wrestling. At least six different wrestlers/gimmicks came directly from the sequels. I always associated "two men enter one man leaves" with cage matches, I'm guessing this is where Dusty got it. Not to mention, I'm pretty sure this is where he also got the idea for spin the wheel make the deal. Now I'm wondering what other films Dusty blatantly ripped off. Also Finlay's ring jacket of course needs to be mentioned.

  5. Was Larry Zybysko ever actually any good?  All I've seen of his work are a few highly unimpressive matches here and there on old WCW shows.

He was good enough for you to choose one of his catchphrases for your screen name apparently...

When I met Larry at Fan Axxes during WM 30 I shook his hand and said, "the human game of chess". He laughed and then repeated it in his gimmick voice. So awesome. I also asked him to sign the HOF section of the program, to which he looked for Bret Hart class and signed over it. Was there heat between Bret and Larry?

  6. Josh Matthews has a podcast coming out soon.  Oddly enough it's not about wrestling, but mens fashion.  I like his intent to have wrestlers on there to discuss style.  It's different enough that it might work.   Can't imagine hearing any other episodes aside from that.

I can't fathom how a thumb ring wearing, frosted tipped hair styled zilch like Matthews is getting paid to talk about fashion. He just wore a Notre Dame cardigan on television in 2015.

  7. How out of touch is this board that people even think Vince might feud with Kevin Owens? If anything he will get the Gangrel treatment.

EDIT: I misread, it's evident that you were discussing Vince never involving himself in/with NXT.

I bet you feel about this tall right now.

Come on now, Lawler is a legit 5' 10". I wonder how many jokes Vince and JR got in when Mini sat on King's lap.
