I am very curious whether there's a loophole in the "coaching only, not as an onscreen talent" stipulation on Regal from TK. If someone's primary job is producer and their contract lines out exactly how much of their job is backstage and how much is onscreen, I wonder if they can get away with it. I don't consider Petey Williams getting blown up by Lashley as onscreen talent, he's a producer who got in the way.

I didn't realize until just now how old he was when he got on TV. If he had been ten years younger, they probably could have done a lot more with him.

I feel like this whole "is he/isn't he" storyline leading up to the PPV is sort of a test run for MJF as a face. I'm pretty sure that it'll end up a swerve but I think if the face tendencies got over like crazy they might change course and go all in on the turn.

Eddy was injured for a large chunk of 2000. Juventud, wow, I'll need to reevaluate, but I doubt anything he was doing in WCW 2000 made that seem realistic. Finlay was working garbage matches with Brian Knobbs. Has Jeff Hardy ever had a good non-gimmick match? Matt Hardy was solid but bland at the time. Regal was working sporadically. Daniels was probably a couple years off seriously contending here.

I definitely thought Joey Abs and Sick Boy were the future of the business.
