The only time I felt anything remotely like the refs being in favor of one team over the other was Super Bowl XL. Just obvious calls being blown in favor of the Steelers

WWE doesn't have an age limit. Truth is still active and he's 50. The issue is that Funk wouldn't pass the physical - probably also an issue with most of the older superstars they could bring back.

Apparently, Roger Goodell is going to push for a new rule where two personal foul penalties will get a player ejected. I doubt it gets past the competition committee, though. Way too much room for a ref to ruin a particular game. Especially, on a bad call. You would have make big hits reviewable I would think

Considering the sport, I wouldn't at all be surprised if his brain showed signs of CTE. Can you imagine all the concussions all the X-Games guys have gotten since they were 6 or 7? Especially, since they can turn pro in their early teens if they are good enough.

Weren't Rocky and Mark the first devopmental guys? I seem to remember them both telling stories about how the WWF/E put them in apartment together in NY or CT and they pretty much just trained everyday.

Trish sure was a helluva seller, though. Plus, she was taking bumps from the men. She sold the choke slam from Kane better than anyone. Gladly, the women today don't have to deal with that.

When was the last time WWE main event booking was logical?
Like, even going back over twenty years, Wrestlemania 10. Why did Yoko have to defend his title against Lex AND Bret? Why didn't they fight each other instead of Bret/Owen and Lex/Yoko?
My guess is they wanted it to be fair and have the main event title match with guys who both wrestled once already earlier in the card. I think Bret v Owen was added 2nd, so Bret had to wrestle twice. Plus, they still has just 4 PPVS. I imagine Bret Vs Luger would have mained the Feb PPV had one existed at the time.

I remember Matt Stover doing a lot of the scoring for that 2000 Ravens team. A lot of 'nothing but field goal' wins for the Ravens that year. Just a horrible offense. They scored 34 points in the Super a Bowl and 21 came from defense and special teams

Over the weekend, all the Hawks and Philips Arena employees got forwarded a note from Vince McMahon thanking us for all we did during Survivor Series. It was such a crazy day behind the scenes, so it was pretty cool to have Vince acknowledge everyone's effort that day.

Just got to the arena. Bomb sniffing dogs are out and the Homeland Security SUVs are around the loading dock and entrance where the wrestlers and employees come in.
I will say that the set is nice and different.

I'm not really nervous about working the event but it's definitely a weird feeling knowing ISIS is at least aware that an event you're going to be at would be a potential target for them. All the employees did get an email saying security will be increased even though the threat isn't "credible"

As someone who works for an NBA team, I can assure you, it takes more than that to eject someone that's paying five figures for season tickets for courtside seats.
