  1. I agree at this point, I can only accept Clay standing tall at the end.  Jax is so much worse than Clay was as Pres and I never saw that coming in the first two seasons.

What was the best season?  I agree I thought they were solid until they went to Belfast.  I did like Season 3's ending though.

http://www.deadline.com/2013/09/lucas-back-is-back-behind-the-wheel-for-fast-furious-7-and-beyond/'>EXCLUSIVE: Lucas Black, who starred in Fast & Furious 3: Tokyo Drift, is returning to reprise his Sean Boswell role in Fast & Furious 7. Black, most recently seen as Pee Wee Reese in the Jackie Robinson film 42, has signed a deal that calls for his character to become a regular in the series and he will be part of at least the next three installments of Universal Pictures’ most lucrative film franchise. Fast & Furious 7 will be released next July 11.

  3.

Jerry's story of Macho Man leaving doesn't line up right. He says he (Jerry) was given the color commentator position randomly at RAW one night when they turned on Nitro and saw Macho on their show. Obviously that's not how it went down as Randy left long before that, was given a decent on-air send-off by Vince, and he was in WCW long before Nitro debuted.

Lawler replaced Hennig, basically, after he became active again for Survivor Series 1992. The part that's weird to me is that he spent a huge chunk of 93 announcing Superstars with Macho.

Didn't Hennig replace Lawler later on?  I went to to Beware of Dog 2, which was also a Superstars taping, and Hennig and Vince were on commentary and Lawler wrestled on Superstars and this was 96

"Suck on this 1.2 rating, Vince!"

"More people may watch WWE, but then again, more people like Myley Cyrus than Emmylou Harris. These men are by gawd ath-a-letes, not sports entertainers!" If it's so wrong to wanna see angry, bitter J.R. treat Impact like a two-hour YouShoot against Vince and the WWE, I don't wanna be right.

Only if this is how he debuts:

Who would be Dr. Death's replacement in TNA?

  5. It's amazing how fans still have a positive reaction to the Razor character even though he was only around for a short period of time in the WWF, and never held anything higher than the IC Title.

I would think part of the reason would be that Hall was pretty much Razor in the nWo era, too. The only thing that was really different was going by his real name.

  6. Back to the older Raws discussion. One of my favorite Raws was the one the night after In Your House: International Incident, that started off with Shawn Michaels & Ahmed Johnson vs. The Smoking Guns and Sunny ended up covered in Shawn's birthday cake.

Also, the Raw before SummerSlam 98 where the Nation locked DX in the locker room and Shawn came back to save Chyna

  7. Packers now have Seneca Wallace and Scott Tolzien as their backups.  Both were backing up Colin Kaepernick a couple weeks ago.  Pulling out all the stops to get the win on Sunday.

    "Tell us everything you know!"

  8. I assumed Tebow was signed

    1. as a personal favor from Beli to Urb and

    2. because if he made the team they'd put him in to score a rushing TD against the Jets

He was just too terrible to justify keeping.

#2 reminds me of early last season when Harbaugh put Kaepernick in the game vs. the Jets and he scored a rushing TD.  Pretty much trolling the Jets, who didn't know how to use Tebow in the same role at all. That and the one play vs. Green Bay, are the only times Kaep played before Alex Smith got that concussion.

  9. I remember reading in the old Raw Magazine that Jim Cornette was the person came up with the idea for the Hell in a Cell match.  Then I got to wondering, who is the legit mastermind behind other matches.  Jericho is given kayfabe credit for MITB, but who really came up with it? Bischoff "created" the Elimination Chamber, but who's idea was it really?

  10. Unless I've missed it, I'm surprised the UFC hasn't put Benson Henderson vs. Anthony Pettis from WEC 53 on YouTube. Recently the UFC have started putting up UFC fights of the headliners in the build to that show.

It's on OnDemand.  I watched it last week.

  11. I also think the AJ promo could have been one of those deals where the people in the ring knew she was going to cut a promo but didn't know what she was gonna say. Hence, why the Bellas didn't quite know how to react.

Wasn't the "Piggy James" promo with Mickie dressed as a pig LayCool did on Mickie James the same way?
