  1. Just finished Unstoppable. All I have to say is wow...Becky/Sasha just took a spot in my top five pretty easily. Hell, if I rewatch it may just take the top spot. Such a great match. Matches filled with the little things that build to the bigger things are always some of my favorite types of matches. The whole dueling armwork aspect made it soooo friggin great.

I love how every offensive move that Enzo has is throwing himself at his opponent in some way. He did nail a swank dropkick, though.

Zayn/Owens was awesome from the video package to the very end. Zayn is really good at playing fired up babyface, and Owens is the biggest bastard in wrestling. It does really feel like they are saving the rest of the feud for the main roster, though.

  2. He was also generic action guy in The Chronicles of Riddick. It wasn't until Star Trek that I realized he had charisma, and then Almost Human(damn you Fox) showed that he was an amazing talent and should be in better roles.

  3. Both of my teams are now out of the playoffs. My only hope is that the Hawks upset Lebron and Co....and the winner of Rockets/Clips put up a good fight against GSW.

I still think we are going to have a GSW/Cavs final though. So I guess....go Warriors lol.

  4. What happened to Simmons? My On Demand went haywire after the "We'll be right back" part, and I don't want to sit through the whole ep again.

Also, that whole second half was absolutely riveting from top to bottom. I'm really glad that Cal kinda got a happy ending, because he has been one of the stronger characters throughout the series.

  5.

    HOSS FIGHT!

I remember Koslov/Festus being a mini dream match of mine at around this time, This is a perfect 5 minutematch. Two dudes just beating the crap out of each other until there was a victor. Festus uncharacteristically leaves his feet, and whammo! headbutt.

I also really wanted to see Koslov/Umaga too, but Umaga was either injured or on RAW during Koslov's big push.

  6. That is the most obvious answer, yes, But NXT has been built on most moves by their characters making sense, so and at this point I don't see Tyler Breeze becoming HBK 2k15 making a whole lot of sense.

But hey, they have until the next Takeover to make that possible if they decide to go that route.

  7. The dub in the Sami/Owens promo was pretty obvious, but this means that Zayn will be there. I doubt he wins the match, but I think it will be a good one.

How was Itami injured? I just keep on hearing that he's hurt, but there was no mention of it last night.

I now, more than ever, believe that Carmella will turn on Enzo and Cass. There really is no way around it at this point. I do like that Blake/Murphy is doing the Chris Jericho hair tribute thing in 2015, (I have no idea which one is which)

Tyler Breeze as the unlikely babyface going after Kevin Owens would be a fun thing. How can someone so self absorbed become a champion of the people?

Oh, and that Rhyno/Corbin segment was the bee's knees. Corbin has a future as an unstoppable heel, and Rhyno is always great when given something to do.

  8. As a fan of the Bulls and the Grizzlies, I am really hoping for them to both to make it to the finals.

I grew up in the 90's as a fan of the Bulls, and not just because of MJ. Scottie Pippen is from Arkansas, so he was as local a hero as I had...even if he was from somewhere in the state I had never been. These days I root for them because of Joakim and Pau.

The Grizzlies are the most local major sports team I have, because Memphis is only 30 mins away. I would still like them even if I lived somewhere else though. They are gritty and have tons of spunk. They have to fight for everything they earn, and I have much love for Conley, Z-Bo, and Marc.

However, I am pretty sure we will end up with a Clippers/Cavs finals. The Clips have been amazing this postseason, and I have a feeling that the Cavs are going to win this series.

  9. I really like AOS. It's perfect for a one hour time waster.....just don't expect too much. The most surprising things about it are the characters I cared about the least in Season 1 are now my favorites(Ward/Fitzsimmons), and the ones who were my favs have fallen down a notch in my book.(Skye/Coulson.)

Also, Hunter has been a pretty great addition to the crew, as has Bobbi.

I also love that Kirk Acevado has appeared in a few eps. One of my favorite dudes from his days on Oz and Fringe.

  10. Damn,,,,I should never ever get interested in a show on FOX man. Backstrom had wormed it's way into my viewing schedule pretty fast, and I was looking forward to much more. Feels like Almost Human again.

  11. So I recently found out a cousin of mine is a huge piece of trash. I haven't seen her in close to ten years. In fact, I didnt even know she was back in the state. Turns out she had been for a while. She had been prostituting her 14 and 17 year old cousins to several older men throughout the state,,,a lot of them in my hometown.

She was arrested and charged with human trafficking. I hope she rots, tbh.

  12. 1. Killer Be Killed - Killer Be Killed

One of my favorite metal cd's of the past few years. I have never heard a CD where every song is listenable in one way or another. Perfect for when you are raging because you can't find no coconuts.

    2. Mastodon - Once More Round The Sun

Mostly because I don't think I could live too long without hearing "Chimes at Midnight." There are other wonderful songs on this CD, but this song is perfect.

    3. Metallica - Ride The Lightning

Master of Puppets probably has more of my favorite songs, but For Whom The Bell Tolls is in my top 3 songs of all time. Can't live too long without that one.

    4. High on Fire - Snakes for the Divine

Matt Pike's amazing vocals will get you through anything. I promise.

5 Black Sabbath - Live in Paris 1970

I am not sure if a CD was ever made for this concert, but if it was I would take it for sure. Ozzy puts on the most vocally haunting performance of his career, and all of their best songs from those early days are played.

I will also include just a few more for the hell of it.

    Clutch - Blast Tyrant

Hank III - Straight to Hell

Amon Amarth - Fate of Norns

Opeth - My Arms, Your Hearse

EDIT: I don't just listen to metal, but I am more metal leaning than anything else. I just honestly can't think of any other style I would rather listen to for long amounts of time. If I had to take non metal cd's with me I would probably choose

    Run The Jewels

Three Six Mafia - Chapter 2: World Domination

    Nirvana - Bleach

The Prodigy - Invaders Must Die

Project Pat - Mista Don't Play

    UGK - Dirty Money

  13. Oh yeah...totally forgot. Heath Slater coming down and being Heath Slater would've been one of the highlights if this had been a run of the mill RAW. That guy has a direct line to my funny bone.

  14.

Fugazi's two best albums were in the 00s and the 80s, but the rest of their output makes them still the best band of the 90s. I am completely lukewarm towards Radiohead, but the Bends and OK Computer are the albums I think of when I think of the 90s.

This is kind of interesting. We should do a best band of the 90s poll.

I would absolutely be up for a best of the 90s poll. For me, nobody tops Alice in Chains. It's sad that such great music was born out of such pain. I still wonder what Layne Staley and his music would have been like had he not been addicted to heroin.

Probably boring, tbh. His vocal ability on certain songs is amazing, and I don't think he could've reached the depths he did without the pain and drug use. Listen to the unplugged version of Nutshell. You don't do that without feeding off of something dark.
