Today is my 31st birthday! I still get that childlike excitement for my birthday, even though I am rapidly approaching middle age. And instead of gifts, I get likes on Facebook.
I actually have plans for the first time in years that don't involve work or sitting on my ass.

I've been watching RAW from the beginning, and I have to say I really miss Vince on commentary. His over the top excitement always feels genuine and full of shit at the same time.
I also dug he and Macho ripping on Rob Bartlett after he missed the Raw right after WM9. Those two were really quite good as an announce team.

Holy shit! i was actually at that MCW show. I never knew any footage of it existed, There was also a pretty swank AmDrag/Regal match that I've talked about previously on this board.

A brand new High on Fire was released without me even knowing until this morning. I knew I should've liked them on Facebook months ago.

I just want to see certain moves make a return. I don't even know when the last time I saw a side russian leg sweep on WWE TV, and that makes me sad.
I also would like to see more babyfaces helping babyfaces after a heel does something super dastardly.
I also want to see the main babyface show up during a heel beatdown on a friend like he just got out of the shower as soon as someone told him. One of my favorite pro wrestling memories as a kid was Jerry Lawler showing up with shaving cream and a towel on to save a friend while several heels were kicking his ass.
Basically, I want more Memphis staples in my pro wrestling,

6'7. I'm just unlucky enough to have really large feet and hands. I could never do the whole home key thing in keyboarding class back in school lol. My teacher had to accept that was never going to be possible for me.

I really wish I could just walk into any store that sells shoes and buy me a pair. I wear a size 18 US so all of my shoes have to be ordered off the internet. The most recent pair I bought are just a tad too big, despite being the same exact pair I bought previously. I think it might be because I used a different website than my usual, because my usual was completely sold out of the brand and width I need to be comfortable.
Oh well, I can always put something at the toe region that will make it fit a bit easier until tax time next year.

Marcos Louis was probably my favorite thing on this show. So goofy, so terrible. He def crossed the so bad it's good line with this gimmick.
I like Adam Rose on offense. That Shuriken was pretty swank, IMO.
Other than that, not much fun to be had. But hey, a blah episode of NXT is still pretty alright. I like that a good chunk of this episode focused on the NXT "locals" and not the name guys that have been all over the show for a while now.

I am really enjoying Roman as the dude who has the craziest best friend. He never knows what he is going to get himself into, but he's got his back and is along for the ride. They really should keep this up for the rest of their careers, no matter which one is getting the huge push at the time.

TNA actually put on one of the top 10 matches of the year(Spud/EC3), When's the last time that could be said about them? Has there actually been a time when that could be said about them?

I've been playing the heck out of Super Mario 3D World in my down time. So far, I've collected every stamp and star. I just made it to world 5, and did not realize that collecting golden flagpoles was a thing until today. So now I have to go back and get the ones I didn't get. My ultimate goal is to collect everything I can possibly get from playing as one character. I do realize that collecting all of the last stamps will be impossible unless I play as all 5 characters through every stage...and I'm not about to do that.
I do love this game. It feels like a Mario game through and through. The catsuit is pretty awesome...and the visuals are pretty damn great too.

Rare is still kicking ass on the video game music front. The last two console Donkey Kong games have had soundtracks that are on point. Especially DKC Returns. I haven't sat down and finished Tropical Freeze because the difficulty level has driven me bonkers previously.
