AJ's promo was a goddamn trainwreck, but every match on the show was at least good. Hogan's big plan for No Surrender revolving around Sting losing his title match is also amusing.

It's hard to believe he ever looked young since he basically advanced to looking 40 in '98.

Chances this leads to a War Games match in a few months at that new PPV (Battleground) with The Shield, Orton (maybe HHH) vs. Bryan, Big Show, Ziggler, Henry (maybe Punk/Christian or another 5th guy)?
I would love that, but don't see it happening. A Survivor Series match at that PPV is more likely.

First hour had a lot of good stuff between some stuff that dragged. Punk-Axel's post-match was straight out of Tully-Magnum - I loved every second of it. Second hour was really good thanks to AJ's promo burying the chicks on Total Divas and going really far with the PG parameters to insult folks. Great main event with Bryan and Rollins. Shame Show didn't do anything since the crowd was hot for it.

God, you just want to smack Tuilly's face for looking so smug.

Good grief, this is basically just the set-up for a porno.
Only with worse acting and less clothing.

Fine-ish show, but not the most exciting episode of SD.

CM Punk's website looks shockingly low-tech. Hell, the screens I take are of a far better quality. Also, Affleck as Batman has potential - I'm willing to at least give it a shot before saying he'll doom everything. I don't see that happening just with this movie since the Nolan/Bale flicks got Batman a LOT of cred in Hollywood. It isn't like with Batman/Returns/Forever/B&R where you had two good-to-great ones and then a huge drop-off. Batman on film can survive one dud and perhaps not be re-re-re-booted.

I think he meant the giant-ass belt he has on in the Orndorff pic, which I've never seen before.

I basically marathon-viewed S4 over the past few days thanks to the DVD and I really like it. Nothing tops S2, but overall, I actually like it more than S3 - which did have the greatness of the RPG episode. Gillian Jacobs was the fucking star of it though - she goes from hot in her panties, to wacky changing, and then DRESSING UP AS A HAM AND BEING SILLY. From there, she becomes a more mature character and turns her meddling into a huge plus by reuniting Jeff with his dad in one of the show's most touching bits yet.

Warlord's outfit reminds me of the time in ATHF where Master Shake says WHAT'S THE D STAND FOR!? IT STANDS FOR DRACULA! THE D STANDS FOR DRACULA! That whole Hogan gallery is fantastic - I'm definitely going to save every photo from it at some point.

This was a show. Highlight was the finger suck and the setup for AJ-Bully at BFG.

I thought that too until I noticed the tattoos.

Pretty good show overall. It felt like a solid follow-up to Summerslam. Loved Bryan being set up as the new Stone Cold. HHH is going to be a huge detriment to this Bryan angle.

This show was tremendous. Easily the best SummerSlam since '05.

Hardcore Gamer's review is up - 4.5/5 - http://www.hardcoregamer.com/2013/08/14/review-saints-row-iv/
I should be getting a copy on Tuesday. Talking about it on the podcast recording last night literally had me buying it on Amazon during it.

So with the roster announced so far are there actually enough guys to recreate 40+ WM matches?
Here's what I calculated:
You bastard, I was doing this too. I'll get my revenge by pointing out the ones you missed!
WM 5: Jake/Andre
WM 6: Jake/DiBiase
WM 8: Taker/Jake
WM 20: Evolution vs Rock'n'Sock
Jake isn't in the game, but you got me on WM 20. The tag could be in there making it 65 at the most. Likely to be less, of course.
I can see them going with Kane-Taker for WM XX like they did on the History of WM DVD.

Guys back in the day had gimmicks, sorta. Horowitz's was patting himself on the back. Koko had a gimmick - he had a bird, and a tendency to lose a lot once the '80s ended. The Goon was a total jobber and was nothing but a gimmick act.

Maybe Hogan had that overturned. If he can have Bully's divorce finalized without his consent, he can do that. Joseph Park Esq. does some amazing things.
