The one thing about Thor is that there are a bunch of enemies that would rock on film. Enchantress. Executioner. Absorbing Man. The Wrecker. Hela. Ulik. Any of those would be worthy of being on film.

This was the worst in memoriam ever... cutting the audio so you couldn't hear the applause for individuals, but to follow that up with that utter schlock is just repulsive. They all deserve better.

No. Good look for the time but complete drizzles in the ring. Also a horrific human being.

I think that most of this class is spot on. I'm glad to see Andre Reed to get in so that the WR log jam that can get that much looser. Hopefully they'll get Tim Brown and Marvin Harrison in before Randy Moss and Terrell Owens become eligible.
Aeneas Williams is the one that puzzles me. And I am a Bronco fan, but is Williams better than Steve Atwater?
And they need to take one spot away from the veterans and give it to contributors....

In other news, I don't think I can watch another day full of NFL and NOT be on here monitoring things in real time. The most fun I had in a long time. Just a blast to interact with everyone while watching the games.
It's so funny... one of the best thing about the board is that RAW can't be commented on in real time, yet the real time game chatter is awesome.

Lanny is a carny... he might be speaking out of both sides of his mouth. Last year Bruno, Bob Backlund, Mick Foley and Trish went in on the same year... don't think that they're worried about that.

It was inevitable... Peter Parker is Spider-Man. Steve Rogers is Captain America and Bruce Wayne is Batman. These characters are icons now, there's no reason to waste energy about new directions.

I hope Buck was being facetious when he said "long complicated story" about GB drafting Mandarich over Aikman. Either that or all those years as a baseball announcer have left him incapable of using the word "Steroids"
Which is curious because Aikman was the #1 overall pick that year... what is a long complicated story is why GB took Mandarich over Barry Sanders, Derrick Thomas and Deion Sanders who were the next three players taken.

I think everything that has been said here has been spot on. He's a Nuke LaLoosh... Million dollar talent and a 5 cent head. When someone is in his ear telling him to chill and structuring matches for him, he's very good. Leave himself to his own devices... he's abysmal.

I was talking about cities that have great weather year round. I've been in Dallas and San Francisco in winter, they're not cold weather cities, but it gets frigid. I'm talking about cities where snowflakes haven't fallen in decades

It's not Marino's fault... no team from a warm weather city has a compelling story in the NFL except the Dolphins in the 70's and the one year the Buccaneers won the Super Bowl. Between the Dolphins, Buccaneers, Jaguars, Cardinals, and Chargers.... it's been spotty at best, and that continues if you includes the Saints. Players go to the beach or the golf course and forget that they hit people for a living.

People are forgetting that Shane was going to kill Rick which makes the circumstances vastly different. Carol killed two defenseless people who may or may not have died without her making her executive decision. Who's to say that Carol wouldn't make another decision prematurely that would lead to a major mistake?

Yeah, saying Burgundy LaRue was "white knighting" something was moronic. That shows an utter disregard for who commented and made it feel like the poster was just waiting for someone to bring that up so he could get his "learned" opinion across.
Saying that Jerry Lawler is a legend and no one should say boo about him is ludicrous... Harry Caray was once one of the greatest announcers in MLB history... but for the last decade of his career, he was a joke. Lawler is now getting there. Lawler the magnificent wrestler? Check. Lawler the booker and innovator? Check. He's been phoning it in for nearly a decade now and deserves some criticism on or off screen. Having the McMahon family pet JBL come to his defense made it even worse.
Loved the last two matches.... if only they had announcers that could get these angles over...

Man, remember when DC/Vertigo used to clean up at the Eisners?
I think it's a direct result of where DC is right now. You have to think that at least two of those continuing titles would be at Vertigo if everything was the way it used to be.
