  1. there's a handful of grammar mistakes that aggravate me. most of the there/their/they're stuff i just roll my eyes at.

"should of" instead of "should have". not that damn hard.

using "borrow" instead of "lend". i don't know how common this is, but a buddy of mine is always saying stuff like "can you borrow me $10" or whatever. i can't stand it.

Obviously a game with great level design, but waggle to roll makes it unplayable for me.

I hope it eventually gets a Switch release with conventional control options.

absolutely agree. i played it after Tropical Freeze on the Wii-U, and i definitely missed the classic controls.  the motion controls have a time and place, a standard platforming game IS NOT it.

  3. re: Miss Elizabeth.   didn't she win the 'smashing crumpet' tournament we did a few years ago?  that's all the credentials she needs.

with WWE sponsoring Jarrett's recent rehab stint, i could see them putting him in sooner rather than later.  if wwe had also acquired the tna video library, it would be even less of a surprise.

christian also won the NWA title. it won't get mentioned on wwe tv, but it still is an accomplishment.

as far as Japanese inductions, Great Muta or Jushin Liger would be my picks

This UFC 3 talk is super depressing.  I read previews talking about how career had been streamlined and you wouldn't have to do 3 shitty training minigames between every Career fight and I was pretty interested.  Now I think I'll just keep playing EAUFC2 and occasionally Undisputed 3 (which has still gotten more playtime from me than any other MMA game).

i bought an Xbox 360 specifically to play Undisputed 3 a few years back. ended up selling it off, but sometimes i miss playing that game.

Is there really that much of an audience for a Gambit movie?  Not doubting you (much), but I had no idea.  I didn't think Gambit was still a popular character.

i guess i'm just assuming. there's been talks and news of this movie for what feels like a decade at this point. sure, mostly the news is stuff like "director pulled out" and "negotiations with actor hit a snag", but it always seems like the film is highly anticipated.

Isn't that only for the event?

Its a weekly Justice League event and is supposed to be somewhat related to Metal, dealing with dangerous multiverse villains that go beyond what they are used to seeing on Earth. The teams villain team up is actually supposed to be a suggestion from Braniac. I've not read Metal, but this has me kind of interested for Team Wonder alone. Can't say I care for Harley or Beast Boy being involved. The latter especially just feels so off and kind of lame with everyone else involved.

ahh, i missed the 4 one-week issues when i read the article earlier. thanks for the clarification!

  7. just read Nightwing: New Order. picked up all 6 issues as they came out, but avoided spoilers and read them in one sitting. was hesitant going in, based on the premise, but i found myself enjoying it. fun ride.  nothing too shocking or crazy, but a solid story.

also just saw the rosters for the four new Justice League teams.  umm, what?

    for those unaware:

Team Mystery- Martian Manhunter, Sinestro, Superman, Starfire, Starro
Team Entropy - Lobo, Lex Luthor, Beast Boy, Batman, Deathstroke
Team Wonder- Raven, Doctor Fate, Zatanna, Wonder Woman, Etrigan
Team Wisdom- Cyborg, Harley Quinn, Atom, Flash, Robin (Damian Wayne)
