The domestic violence themed episode of The Wrestlers aired this week. I hadn't thought of Mia Yim since she left Impact, but her being featured here made me wonder, did she ever actually go to NXT, or was she just in a Mae Young Classic tournament and then not signed? Because if she is still just doing indies, that's a bit of a waste. She was in great form in Impact (once she wasn't working with Marti Belle anymore), and then she just left. Between WWE, AEW and Impact, you'd think someone would have roster space for a great worker with mainstream exposure. Especially since AEW did hire Leva Bates. If that's the bar, Mia Yim is way higher.

She was in the NXT Womens Championship match at Takeover last night.

The 7/17 date came from Rhyno himself in an interview

It is entirely possible he had the date wrong or the WWE just let him walk a little early because a) he left the "right" way and/orb b) they don't consider Impact competition

(And in regards to B - this is why reportedly you are hearing more and more references to TNA on Network programming.)

Any chance there is a lawsuit settlement somewhere where WWE gets right of first refusal on a sale of the company?  like that's ever happened before...

Yeah, I'm defo done with indy wrestling.

Ive worked with Blay on a bunch of shows in New Brunswick for a bunch of years. He is really good, so dont let the gimmick scare you off. Hes been spreading out from the maritimes this year, a lot of times teaming up with Dylan Davis as Maritimes Most Wanted in Ontario and Quebec.

  4. WWE could let everyone in to Live events and TV tapings for Free for a year before it would even begin to have a small impact on the bottom line. As long as they continue to create content for broadcast deals and the streaming network, they are laughing. The days of looking at Gate Revenue as anything but found money are over.

Wait, people actually think that little rant was Sam Roberts' actual opinion, and not a very obvious instance of someone being fed lines from the back?

    Okay.

That's what I was going to say. That is the most obvious "someone is in my ear telling me something I don't want to say, but I gotta say something like it" I've ever seen
