Askren would not fare well in the UFC. His success in MMA has been a combination of his wrestling and the fact he was using it mostly against guys in Bellator. Let's not forget a lot of people thought he lost the fight to Jay Hieron and he once got his face beat to a pulp by a guy on his back.
I couldn't disagree more. If he comes over, he's a favorite against every guy except GSP, Condit and probably Rory. If Hendricks beats GSP on Saturday, he might be a dog there. Otherwise, I'd take him to beat everyone else.

I think this card stacks up pretty well against any card the UFC has put on this year and better than a good number of them.
Bjorn, is that you?

Rampage vs. Joey Beltran on 11/15. Ha.
-
The rumored opponent for Rampage on 11/15 is Sokoudjou.
11/15/2007? Sokoudjou coming off Lil Nog and Arona. Rampage is the Light Heavyweight champ. Just KO'd Chuck and beat Hendo. Sweet fight. Oh wait...that's 6 years ago.

They have to have a back-up plan, right? I mean, the odds of the fight actually happening on 11/2 when it was signed had to be less than a coin-flip. Also, I hope they pull the PPV and Eddie Alvarez comes out on Spike and does the Fingerpoke of Doom.

FWIW, these are the UFC's rankings:
Champion : Cain Velasquez1- Junior Dos Santos2- Daniel Cormier3- Fabricio Werdum4- Antonio Silva5- Travis Browne6- Josh Barnett7- Alistair Overeem8- Frank Mir9- Stipe Miocic10- Roy NelsonSherdog has Werdum above Cormier, and also includes Big Nog (#8) and Gonzaga (#10) in the top 10Yeah, how the hell is Mir still in the top 10? 3 losses in a row.
Because his losses are to #1, #2 and #6?
In theory, losing to 1/2/6 does nothing to prove you aren't #7.

If Cena coming back is legit, should we be expecting Sandow to cash in the briefcase on him after the match? That could allow Cena to tread water before hooking up with the main angle.

I think it's kind of crazy that the bullet didn't hit Jesse, too. If it was powerful enough to go through concrete walls, I'm sure it didn't just stop in Walt's side and not pass right through to Jesse's stomach.
-
Wouldn't Jesse be driving directly towards the cops as he busts out? I don't get the sense there were all kinds of roads leading to the Nazi compound.
-
If he is going to fight in Sweden, I think you want that to be against Rogerio. I think there's too much risk to put Davis/Cormier in there.

My friends have ordered a ton of soccer & NFL jerseys from nfljerseysupply.net. They seem to be really happy with the quality.

I desperately want to know the draft order.

Natural Born Killer is about as apt a nickname that exists in MMA. He may be my favorite fighter to watch. Am I the only one who wants to see a Carlos Condit/Matt Brown fight? i know that Condit is much higher on the card, and there is no upside to that fight, but it would be an absolute war while it lasted.
I'm pulling for Condit/Askren.

Outside of that, I dislike the lack of Otis Nixon.
I was shocked he wasn't listed. That is one ugly man.

Not sure if this is frowned upon or not, so if it is, feel free to delete the post. I wrote my first every blog post, taking a look at the odds for the main card fights, along with some potential fights for for winners/losers. I figured there's no better place to put the link than right here.
