I'm pretty confident he bought it for the video library. Y'know, in case they land a streaming service deal, say HBO Max or whoever.
Dunno if that's been covered yet
but yeah RoH was already dead as of their last PPV since all the talent were released from their contracts last year. RoH as an entity is just a brand name and a back catalog.

When did the "take a bump on the edge of the ring" spot start? Feels like once a night whatever wrestling you watch, someone takes a bump on THE HARDEST PART OF THE RING and sometimes they lay and sell it then other times they pop up like nothing
And as frustrating as I'm starting to find this spot, I got to wondering who or when did this get started with?
IIRC i think I had a late 90s vhs comp of the matches of the year and Kobashi gives someone (can't remember who?) maybe. Dragon suplex or a half Nelson suplex onto the edge of the ring and I feel like it has to be someone before that (if I even remember the spot correctly which tbh I saw this match like 15 years back so its possible it was someone else doing the spot)

I also started the Young Bucks and Bella twins autobiographies too, flipping back and forth between the three though I've gotten the furthest with the Hart one
As far as I've gotten into the Bucks book, they've quit TNA just after Jay Lethal got let go and I've been breezing through the book since there's some nice stuff about going to Japan and working the West coast so that's fun imo since I hadn't been all that familiar with "the indy scene" til maybe TNA started their weekly ppvs and they brought in guys from everywhere to work with the ex WWF talent like Shamrock, Hall, Jarrett etc
The Bella twins I've kinda found the least interesting of the three. Brie mentions some love of her teen life who died and how it hit her and I just skipped back to the Bucks and Hart biographies immediately

Been reading the Gary Hart autobiography, might have missed any discussion on this but is he as big a bullshitter as I think he is or is he on the level?
May've read about it at PWO discussing how he praises Ultimate Warrior and shits on Sting which was good enough to get me to check it out having almost no idea who tf he is (in my defense I was born in 78 and the first half of the book seems to cover all kinds of shit that happened waaaay before I was born)
He takes credit for almost everything under the sun and I figured to ask, is he all the way legit, halfway legit, or just lying through his teeth?
Genuinely like what I've read so far, up to the part where Jim Herd was brought in to run wcw and dusty got let go. Its a good book imo I just don't know enough about him to know if he's full of it

I can't click onto the Next Page or Previous Page in threads that go longer than 1 page. I have to click Back and then manually pick the next page one by one but I can't just click Next
This is happened at work on Edge browser and on my mobile phone using Samsung internet browser for some reason
Also when I've tried to paste a Twitter link it says it can't embed and says unknown error message or something
Edit- Nvm, apparently I need to log in to scroll through pages, hmm. But if I sign out then I have to manually pick each page one by one from the Forum

My cousin passed away tonight at 1022 cst
I'm still in shock because until literally hours ago nobody knew what was happening with him. My aunt posted on Facebook back around the 5th that my cousin had to go into the hospital, he was unresponsive and couldn't breathe and his heart was slowing down
Now some of my cousins and me reach out to keep in touch with her, sending the family prayers and support. But my aunt never gave anyone any updates beyond its real bad and he's gotten worse
So that's two weeks of he's getting worse, its very bad, but no explanation beyond its very bad and he's getting worse
My stepmother passed away about 5 years back after being hospitalized for months, so I have some experience with hospitalizations and the inevitable trip to hospice care before we say goodbye
What had me puzzled was my aunt being as vague as possible, like yknow how every family has their black sheep so to speak, that nobody is in touch with? Well our huge family has about four branches of black sheep in the family tree and lets just say her branch in particular has been known to cry wolf on thousands of occasions, be it my aunt or her daughter or one of her boys
So my aunt saying from the beginning "its very bad, its not good" and then being as vague as fucking humanly possible had me wondering was this another Cry Wolf episode?
Its been said a few times, not by me but other relatives, that my aunt would post at least 2 or 3 times a year how her sin was back in the hospital for this procedure or that one. A different aunt pointed out how my cousin had just gone through some issue around October and that this might be another "emergency visit" just like the last 20 emergency visits of the last 4 years
Aka we hear there's some tragic incident but then it quickly blows over and is forgotten until the next emergency tragic incident
So I wasn't the only one thinking aloud that this could possibly be the next Cry Wolf episode. And so here we were skeptical as fuck about everything with my cousin
Then at 5pm we're hearing about they're going to unplug him and if we want to say goodbye we have to rush there by 7, etc etc
So a good chunk of the family didn't take this seriously because of my aunts vagueness and her reputation for over exaggerating the health issues her family goes through
And thanks to healthy skepticism there's a bunch of grieving angry relatives trying to cope with my cousins passing and nobody who made it to the hospice care to visit is in any condition to drive home, crying so much and all.
Just rambling outta anger and grief

Soooooo.. just caught Danielson vs Solow, vs Nick Jackson, and vs Kingston earlier today. And Jesus Fucking Christ I legit think he just might be my pick for mvp of the year*
He gets so much praise but I mean, in a vacuum if you only watch his matches back to back vs a range of opponents i feel like you're not stuck with a formulaic layout, he switches gears so to speak against the opponent and doesn't seem to have a by the numbers routine. Huge fan of his matches with Omega and Suzuki and seeing these 3 today just

*Full disclosure I've not had the chance to catch that much stuff weekly so it's pretty much a lock if anyone else has had a better output of matches vs different opponents I've not seen those yet
