I'm visiting family in Little Rock, Arkansas this week and yesterday as we drove through Memphis, they actually had a radio show where two women sat there and read the entire Memphis newspaper front-to-back.
Apparently, it was for the benefit of blind people. I guess the Memphis Commercial Appeal doesn't have a brail edition or something.

"The Last of the Fast Guns" is a B western with Jock Mahoney as a gunslinger searching for the missing brother of a railroad magnate, and features Paul Frees, the voice of Boris Badanov and countless Disney cartoons, as a fellow gunslinger, but on top of that, he also dubs three different Mexican characters, making no attempt to change his voice so you end up with all three sounding like a Hispanic Boris Badanov.

For those of you too young to remember, it's kind of a running joke, dating back to when Jeff Hardy won his first Intercontinental Title from Triple H and then immediately jobbed it back to him four days later, and continuing on to Daniel Bryan winning the World TItle from Big Show and CM Punk winning beating John Cena for the WWE title in the "pipe bomb" match, every time it seems like a promotion is going to pull the trigger on a young guy winning the title and getting a big push, Dave and Bryan will go on their podcast and get all excited and do a bunch of fantasy booking about all the awesome matches that Hardy/Bryan/Punk are going to have as champion, and then the rug gets pulled out from under them and Triple H buries Hardy, or Bryan loses in 8 seconds to Sheamus, or Punk loses the title in a Money in the Bank cash-in to Del Rio.
Every time Dave and Bryan get excited about a big upset, the status quo is restored and the guy they were marking out over gets buried.
So congratulations, Dave. Thanks to Sunday's podcast, where you fantasy booked Ishii and Shibata getting title shots and Shibata winning the IC title, you have pretty much guaranteed that Kenny is going to become the first guy to lose the Tokyo Dome title shot before January 4th and the Dome Show will probably feature Shibata becoming the first guy to job to Captain New Japan at the Dome, Ishii being stuck in a meaningless tag match, and Tanahashi winning the IWGP title again.

"Birth of a Nation" director Nate Parker is now coming under fire on a 17-year old rape charge which basically amounts to a he-said/she-said where she claims she was drunk during sex in college and he said it was consensual.
Charges were dismissed against Parker and his roommate (who cowrote "Nation) was found guilty but overturned on appeal.

...and Ivan Reitman has now taken complete control of the franchise via the Ghost Corps. holding company that Sony/Columbia set up. He'll control the new Ecto-Force cartoon and the CGI film supposedly coming out in 2019 and will apparently have a larger hand in any "unlikely" sequels that come out.
Hollywood Reporter says all four women have options for sequels, but Entertainment Weekly says only McKinnon and Jones are locked in and Wiig and McCarthy would need new contracts/raises.
Also, the developers of the shitty XBox One/PS4 Ghostbusters game filed for bankruptcy the day after the game came out last month.

Oh goody, I can't wait for all the threads that will get derailed when someone says a movie is bad and then Zeidler chimes in that Man of Steel 2 was worse and than Zeidler's enemies go after him and a ten page flame war erupts and RIPPA has to lock the thread.
And it won't even be a superhero film discussion, it'll be a thread about Dolby Digital vs. Dolby Pro Logic or something.

On the "Upcoming Movie" thread, the trailer for "Finding Altamira" was in the post for "Bad Santa 2" and "Two Lovers and a Bear" were in the post for the latest Resident Evil film. I had to hit 'refresh' to get the correct videos to load.
