I did have him, and now I feel like a complete chump for dropping him. :/

Is...is that Michael Hayes in the ring with Big Show?
-
Oh, okay. I remember that was something she's had to deal with, chronically. Hopefully she'll be able to make a full recovery soon.

A couple injuries to report. Earlier this month, Sendai Sachiko injured her left ACL and meniscus during practice. As a result, her and Dash Chisako have had to vacate the JWP & Daily Sports Women's Tag Team titles.
Also, it appears that Act Yasukawa is in the hospital. I had trouble sussing out the details (Google Translate was no help), but she posted pics of her in the hospital on her Facebook page and on her blog, so yeah.
So, that kind of sucks. :/

The thing is, Bray's always done the singing thing, dating back to his debut in NXT when he was singing "Time is On My Side". It really shouldn't come as a shock that it's caught on now, WWE's incompetence at capitalizing on it notwithstanding.

I'm more flabbergasted about why the fuck Redmond had Carlos effing Marmol intentionally walk Rendon to load the bases for Werth.
Rendon is the hotter bat hitting over .400 but, shit, Werth isn't someone I would want to race to get to in the order either.
Its becoming the shitty habit of managing to statistics instead of common sense.
This seems to be similar to the "we can't let (player X) beat us" mentality, which I've never understood. If winning and losing are the only thing that matters (and on the team level, as opposed to the individual level, imo, this is correct), what does it matter who beats you?

Yay! Always good to hear from Naimark!
....
That reminds me; Has anybody resurrected the Barbecueniversity thread yet?

She's good at what she does, but I feel her selling is lacking. That's the only thing I can think of off the top of my head.

I try to pay attention to who is and isn't starting on a particular day and adjust accordingly. Moving everything around each day according to matchups seems a bit much for me, though.

That sounds fantastic. I can't wait to give that a try.
Where's Kyle Casey and his fish-and-sausage stew recipe? I've felt like cooking that for a while but I forget exactly how to make it and reading the recipe will remind me of the tweaks I did to it the first time I made it.
I'm glad somebody else enjoyed it.
I've got it written down somewhere. I'll post it again as soon as I unearth it.

I was watching MLB Tonight on the MLB Network last night to get some scores and shit, and I have a question for y'all. I mean, everybody knows that Harold Reynolds is a frickin' putz and all, but has Eric Byrnes always been terrible as an analyst? I'm usually good at tuning people out if they're being schmucks, but I had to mute the tv between the two of them. Jesus.

Yeah, I've noticed that. There's plenty of joshi just lying around on YouTube, but if you search for a specific wrestler, not much comes up, usually. Weird.
Oh, I forgot about Tomoka Nakagawa. Her and Kellie Skater are one of my favorite joshi tag teams right now. She also teams with Hiroyo Matsumoto in OZ Academy, right?
-
Also, they're not quite on the same level as an Io Shirai or an Arisa Nakajima, but I really enjoy Makoto, Apple Miyuki (now Mii Hibiscus), and the Sendai Sisters.
Any other joshi workers that may not quite be the top tier, but you enjoy nonetheless?
-
I'll second the love for Io Shirai and Act Yasukawa. I would also say that Hikaru Shida and Arisa Nakajima are also really good. If you like a more shootish style, Kana or Syuri can definitely deliver that. Anybody else I'm forgetting about?
Oh, and I just saw that Natsuki Taiyo announced that she'll be retiring in June. Of course, she made the announcement in January, so I'm a little late to the party. Still, it's a shame as I feel that she's one of the better of the more smallish joshi workers. She works a very unique style that I think will be missed.

Good lord. That may have made me sterile.
I shit you not ... tears. In my eyes.
:'(
I'm not sure what it says about me, but...I laughed my ass off at that.

There are 2 that I've always wondered, with regard to Bo Jackson:
1) What if the Tampa Bay Bucs hadn't jammed Bo up on his senior year of baseball at Auburn?
2) What if Bo hadn't gotten injured in 1991? I know this one was asked already, but only with regard to his football career going forward. I'm curious as to what would've happened with his baseball career.

Oh yeah, Syuri ended up winning that match to become the first Krush Women's Champion. Apparently, the judges were split after the normal 3 rounds, so they had to go into an "overtime" 4th round, which Syuri won by unanimous decision.
Has anybody ever won a title in a legit fighting arena (kickboxing, mma, etc.) while also holding a pro wrestling title (or titles, in Syuri's case)?

Speaking of Joshi overcoming serious illness, here's the Act Yasukawa story: http://www.dirtydirtysheets.com/2014/03/13/act-yasukawa-the-dirty-dirty-sheets-interview/
That was a great article! I had no idea Act Yasukawa had overcome so much to get to where she is. Thanks a lot!

Wow, that's great! I'd heard that she had some semi-serious health issues, so I'd assumed she just stopped around the time of the video I posted. I guess either it wasn't true or she's beaten whatever it was. Either way, yay!

If you can get on Yahoo over your iphone, I don't see why not. They have a thing where you can test it to make sure it'll work for you; you should try that.

Okay, with Fozzie joining, that'll fill the league! The draft is Sunday at 4:00 pm, just in case anybody's forgotten.

This is from like 2009 or something, so this has to be one of the more recent Dump matches, right?
