I actually thought the ref was gonna call the match and say that counted as Flair "throwing in the towel" on Charlotte, kinda like how Arnold Skaaland threw in the towel on Bob Backlund against the Iron Sheik. And, honestly, it made sense to me; It gets the title on Becky without Charlotte actually losing, thus setting up a rematch.
Then that didn't happen, and I was disappointed.

The gun is fake as hell and the guy's an ex police officer doing a comedy gimmick. I don't think anyone who ever saw that would think of doing it. Good luck getting a gun into a WWE event anyhow, have fun with security if you try.
Of course it is fake and a comedy spot. My comment was commentary on deathmatch wrestlers trying to push it as far as they can go to get a cheap pop. The logical extreme is someone saying, "...just in the meaty part of the thigh" to get a pop and retweet from @seniorlariato Bootaaaaaaay.
Tommy Dreamer recently told a story about wanting to get shot at the ECW Arena and running with a "Who Shot Tommy" angle. Paul saying he could kill a member of the audience didn't deter him, only when Terry Funk said his dad ran a similar angle and it didn't work because he didn't kill the shooter to the crowd's outrage did Tommy decide against the idea.

If there's going to be a ref's wing, I think along with the ones already talked about on here, I think Tim White should get in too.
I'd also like to see Madusa, Sherri, et. al. moved into a women's wing, so they can start honoring some of the joshi legends like Bull, Dump, Crush Gals, Aja Kong, Manami Toyota, and Akira Hokuto.

So, while Mio Shirai and Act Yasukawa have both retired from in-ring action, it seems that they're not ready to leave the business just yet. Mio has been reffing for the last couple weeks, and Act is gonna be the manager for Oedo Tai.
Can't wait for her to ref an Oz Academy show, and have her trying to stop Ozaki. "Bitch, you were running with us a couple months ago!" lol
MIO is already a heel ref for Ozaki as of the OZ show Sunday.
Ahh! So THAT'S how they get around it, lol

Is it time to give up on Randall Cobb? Megatron and Allen Robinson are auto-starts for me, so I need to figure out who my 3rd WR slot is gonna be between Cobb (vs. DAL), Stevie Johnson (vs. KC), and John Brown (vs. MIN). This is also a ppr league, and return yards count, if that matters.

Halftime is when I go get snacks together and shit, so I really don't care who does the Halftime show. Haven't watched it in years. Can't even remember the last one I actually sat through.
I will admit, though, a Weird Al Halftime show would get me to watch.

Okay, here's my receiving corps:
Megatron (vs. OAK), Allen Robinson (vs. TEN), Randall Cobb (vs. MIN), John Brown (vs. CIN), Brandon LaFell (vs. BUF), and Stevie Johnson (vs. KC)
I need to pick three from that lot. My current 3 is Megatron, Robinson, and Stevie Johnson, but I'm not 100% sure.
Then, for my flex spot I have whichever WRs I don't pick from up there, plus Frank Gore (vs.ATL) and Doug Martin (vs. PHI). I currently have LaFell in the flex spot, mostly because I have Brady, but I don't know.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm one of those that's in the "Fuck Bonds/Clemens" camp, but you really can't deny what they accomplished. Basically, they both had HOF careers before their alleged (actual, because we all know they did it) PED use started, so to deny them is foolish.
And fuck Curt Schilling too, especially after the last few months. That said, he's one of the best post-season pitchers ever, and he gets a lifetime pass for his role in the 2004 Red Sox.
I think the notion that Hoffman shouldn't get in before Mariano is ridiculous. Hoffman's career ended a couple years before Mariano's, so he's eligible now. Denying him the spot he's earned in the Hall because the one guy at his position who was better isn't eligible yet seems dumb to me.
Everyone else is pretty much a no-brainer.

Okay, I managed to pick up Mike Wallace and Jerick McKinnon off waivers. So now I have:
WR: Julian Edelman (vs. HOU), Alshon Jeffery (vs. DAL), Marvin Jones Jr. (vs. GB) , and Mike Wallace (vs. JAX)
RB: Devonta Freeman (vs. NO), Jerick McKinnon (vs. CAR)
I have more RBs, but one's definitely starting (Forte), and the other two are not in consideration.
I need 2 WR and 1 RB, and then 1 more out of what's left. My instinct is Wallace and Jones at WR, McKinnon at RB, and Jeffery at flex. Am I nuts?
