Nikki Cross is my favorite thing about NXT, right now. I just hope they give her a run with the NXT Women's championship.
Wasn't familiar with Kimber Lee, but she's not bad. Sort of a slightly less attractive, less toned Emma.
-
Linda and Vince are pretty much "country club Republicans"(fiscally conservative, socially moderate, or even liberal), so she's probably the most politically centrist member of the Drumpf cabinet, thus far.

Best Sasha-Charlotte match since their days in NXT. And the Heyman interview was some truly compelling stuff.

So, who are the most likely names on the Democratic side to run in '20? Obviously, Hillary is done, as is Bernie. The one name that keeps coming to mind, for me at at least, is Cory Booker.

America has finally turned heel, and it was perfectly booked.

This is where Vince McMahon swoops in, buys TNA for a steal, and leaves everyone shaking their heads in confusion.

Sanity are gonna be fun. They remind me of something from 2014 NXT. Nikki Cross could be the breakout star of that group.
-
James Ellsworth gets so much pussy, now.
-
They should fire Paige as fast as they can. This isn't ending well.
-
The debate dumpster fire probably has a lot to do with the triple threat opening the show.
Predictions!
AlphaHype over Ascenillians
Corbin beats Thwagger
Curt Hawkins loses against his mystery opponent...(probably Kane or Show)
Carmella beats Nikki
Wyatt over Orton, with shenanigans(Luke? the debuting Sister Abigail?)
Beauty and the Manbeast retain over the Usos
Styles retains, pinning Dean
I think the last match will be Dolph vs. Miz, with Miz getting the win. The final shot of the show is Miz waving bye bye to Dolph as he walks up the aisle.
-
Good luck to whoever the buyer is. I hope they like pissing away $4 million.

Just a year ago, I was wishing future endeavorment upon Miz and the Usos, and stifled a yawn whenever Heath Slater showed up. Now they're three of my favorite things in all of wrestling.
I'm strangely intrigued by this Curt Hawkins thing. I know I'm probably alone there, though.

I remember seeing an episode of WWF Tuesday Night Titans, featuring an interview with a very soft-spoken Curtis Iaukea, narrating some video footage about Hawaii. This was a good year or so before he adopted "The Wizard" gimmick, managing Kamala and Sika.
I had totally forgotten about this episode until it showed up on the Network.

Predictions...
TJ Perkins retains over Brian Kendrick. I hope Kendrick goes full batshit insane heel, though.
Cesaro over Sheamus, although I won't be surprised by the opposite result.
Nia destroys Alicia, who aligns herself with her new guru Jinder Mahal.
Jericho probably beats Zayn, and moves on to a mini-feud with KO, eventually.
Sasha wins the Raw Women's Championship, and holds it until Bayley beats her at Mania.
Gallows/Anderson beat New Day for the tag titles.
Reigns wins the US Title from Rusev, obviously.
KO retains over Rollins, with papa Trips assistance.

What makes The Usos such great heels is the fact that they were the babiest of babyfaces. I'm honestly surprised by how much I love them in this new role.

Bo's finisher seems very Sister Abigail-esque. I'm sure that's not by accident.
Solid show. Great to see the crowd being won over by the cruiserweights.
-
The Sheik vs. Sailor Art Thomas, from Indianapolis in 1974. Listen to that crowd reaction when Thomas finally gets the upper hand...

Damn dust...every..single...time...

A lovely tribute to Heath Slater's climb to the top, set to Miley Cyrus's "The Climb"(naturally).

Props to Alicia Fox for the ragdolling she took. Good grief, Nia pancaked her without mercy.
Alicia was a bump machine out there tonight. Impressive.

By the way, Dana Brooke bears a striking resemblance to Beulah Slater. I think they need to capitalize on this fact.
-
I sort of want a Bo Dallas-Nia Jax- Braun Strowman faction. Don't question me.

Aside from the Bray/Kane/Orton weirdness(and even that match was good), I thought this show overachieved. Slater-Rhyno as tag champs is probably going to be short lived, but it was a definite feel good moment. AJ Styles is a great heel. So glad they went that direction with him. Hell, I even enjoyed the heel Usos.

They should do an extended sequence where Beulah Slater is revealed to be Sister Abigail. Heath and Bray as in-laws, along with Rhyno as the uncomfortable sidekick, is something we all want to see, whether we admit it or not.

Vanguard 1 was the highlight, for me.
Two hours of this is a little much, but it was ok. I just hope Trips laughs off the "burial" thing when the Hardys come back to WWE, next year.
