    There were some angles the ringside camera caught that either weren't cut away from or were shit poor that someone's gonna get chewed for. Namely the Brie bella jumping into Paige's arms at the end of their match, and Big Shows not-even-gonna-try middle section punches early in the ten man.

    Nothing is better than watching Heyman get so good in a promo that even Brock Lesnar is marking out for it.   One of these days brock is going to punch Heyman in the fact for making him smile so much

     

    And god damn did he put over John Cena in that promo.  That promo put over Cena just as much as it did Brock

    Hey there's no reason why both of them don't coming out of this as anything less than godlike.

    People didn't believe  Punk would look believable against Brock, but Brock is talented enough to make anyone look like a threat if he wants them to. 

    I was suggesting Punk precisely because I think he'd look more like a credible threat. Especially after being off the roster for a few months. Maybe he was doing some hardcore training with the Gracies or something.

    Why do I feel like there are Punk conspiracy theorists out there who are raving that all removal of him from every WWE related is a smokescreen and that tonight while Heyman's preening about BAROOOOOCK LESSSSSSSSSSSSSNAR, "Cult Of Personality" is gonna hit and lead to a Promo-For-The-Ages.

     

     

    Clearly that won't happen.

    But damn you for making me want it to.  Can you imagine the pop that would get?

     

    The roof would come off the place. Punk would clearly become even more of a Messiah for being the one to come after the one after Bryan has succumb to injury and Cena is off finding the Eye Of the Tiger.

    I don't want this dude to defend the title until Survivor Series. Build someone up as THE GUY and just let Brock pull him apart.

    Seriously. You can't take a beating like that and then come back the next night. There's obvious reasons for it, but the Rock was out for damn near a year after Lesnar beat him. I figure Cena can take a month long vacation.

     

    And send his ass somewhere remote with no cell phone reception. Have him go on a walkabout, or an Ayahuasca trip or something.

     

    Have him take a month or two questing around the world on what it'll take to beat Brock Lesnar and in the end it turns out he needs a suit of weaponized power armor.

    Wait.  Why am I being so unambitious...chemical attack?

     

    Replace "chemical attack" with "army of cyborg chimps" and we're onto something.

     

    And always ask yourself "What would Milius do?"

     

    The answer is:

     

    Dean Ambrose is a young hobo riding the rails into danger when he discovers a plot to unleash an army of cyborg chimps from a train hurtling through L.A. 

     

    Team him up as Rutger Hauer's young protege in Hobo With A Shotgun 2, and Ambrose can start writing his Best Supporting Actor speech now.

    1) Paul Orndorff needs to square off versus Dutch for an old timey fight spot. They'll throw mock jobs and throw one liners, but it'd still be better than the Reigns handicap matches they're doing at this point.

     

    2) All you guys talking about how unattractive the PT in the Brie/Steph angle is can gimme a break. She's moderately attractive and apparently not a cold fish so allegedly D-Bry doesn't need to send a thank you note afterwards. Girl doesn't have to be a 10, even if he's with a 10, and frankly if half of you guys had a five it'd still be three better than what the average driver could pull at a con any weekend any way.

     

    3) That Cena promo from anyone else would've gotten love and respect and lauded over by most of the fan base here, but because it's Cena it's gonna get shit on and called "shooty" and whatever? Give me a break. If that promo had been delivered by Punk during his summer, you'd have been all up on it. It was a great promo, and yeah Cena used 'shooty' terms in it, but I don't think it made it any more or less shooty because of it. It surely wasn't more shooty than some of the Punk promos we've heard and they were shooty on purpose.

     

    They better pull out all the stops for this PPV, or they're gonna need the network to go intergalactic at this point or people are gonna start losing their asses.
