I'm posting this here because I honestly don't know where else to put it. But i had an interesting thought cross my twisted brain today:
Could an indie fed present itself as theater, and file as a non profit 501©3 organization? Not sure what good it would do the company,
but in essence, I was curious about it and thought I'd post it to ya'lls.

Very enjoyable show. Loved the divas tag as usual with their matches lately. Really liked how into it the crowd was. Big pop for Sasha tagging in, going nuts for Brie's bryan tribute, hot finishing stretch, good stuff. Loved the triple threat, awesome finish and had me looking forward to the main event. Summer's Accolade ruled. Glad they're going through with Amell getting a match at SummerSlam. Barrett being awkwardly thrown in by getting squashed by Neville in a minute was a bit odd though. Amell was great in his parts tonight, looking forward to the match. Guessing the add Cesaro/Owens and that'll be 8 matches for SummerSlam, even though it's 4 hours that usually seems to be the amount they stick to. Good to see Ryback return with a big reaction as well. Enjoyed the main event and false finish. Sheamus and the ref's struggle over the case was amusing.

Highlight of the show lmao. Loved that, always pop for Vintage as it is but Vintage..... VINTAGE! Randy Orton was greatness.
There's not a single of those screen caps that couldn't benefit from a Brazzers logo.
Scrolling back up to check cracked me up, funny stuff.
Summer Rae with that accolade might as well be Human Centepede 3: Advanced Configuration.
Also, is it me or is that Crossface reference to Cesaro's move be the first non silenced mention to Benoit since he lost his shit?

I liked the idea of the TV series bridging the movies. Always thought that would be the best way to tell the back story and minutiae, while giving the epic shit the attention and scope it deserved.

Karl Urban or Michael Shannon should totally play Roland in the Dark Tower movie but people will fantasy book Viggo Mortensen or Liam Neeson.
I'd take Timothy Olyphant. He's got the tall, rangy look that Roland is supposed to have. He might be a little old for the part but seeing Paul Rudd in Ant Man makes me think he'd make a good Eddie. Maybe if they aged the character from being in his early 20's to mid-30's.
I'd take Josh Brolin or Olyphant. I don't think Viggo has the legs to do another LOTR type epic series. Wishful thinking has me wanting Daniel Day Lewis as Roland. Actually after watching the shit out of Mr. Robot, I really wanna see Rami Malek play Eddie Dean, and I'd take Zoe Saldana as Susannah.

Instead of starting a new thread, I'll throw it in here. So they're kicking off the Dark Tower withThe Gunslinger on 1/13/17, directed by Nikolaj Arcel who also directed the swedish version of Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. He's also writing the screenplay. I'm with this. Now let's see who they cast. Who do you guys got? My wish list is unobtainable, but solid, with either Josh Brolin or Daniel Day Lewis as Roland and maybe a completely hulking, off his tits John Goodman as Cort.

Only way I see a reason to book Taker/Brock again is to give the Erin back to the Deadman. And the only reason I can see to do that is to setup a rubber match at next year's WrestleMania.
Which doesn't seem like a great idea.
But at least the build has been awesome.
The only way this works is if they give the URN back to the dead man, and he manages to open it, only to hear Roddy's bagpipes and a holographic Tupac version of Roddy returns a la Sanchez in Highlander 2, and utterly beats the shit out of Brock.
But that's the just the feels talking. I don't want Roddy to be gone.

I keep hearing how great Orton is. Why don't i fucking see it? His promos blow. He's plodding. His matches are predictable. "Out of nowhere" = "contrived". I hear others say that he's one of the best in the world so much and think I must not understand pro wrestling.
He's streaky. His 2011 run was fantastic (granted he spent it feuding with Christian and Mark Henry for a big chunk of the year, so that helps) His WWE title run that kicked off this whole Authority thing was fascinating in that he kept having great tv matches, and then failing to deliver on ppv. But he's stale, his act is even more rooted in place than Cena's, and crowds massively stopped giving a shit about him during that last big title run, and only started to again when Rollins took him out and he missed 4 months.
He had really fun runs with Sheamus and Barrett too where they just beat the shit out of each other. His biggest problem to me essentially is that the lazy shitty writers in creative think that "THE APEX PREDATOR THE VIPUH!" sells itself and haven't given him anything remotely interesting to do or say since he was still the Legend Killer...
I think Vince left a LOT of money on the table and not run with the whole Vine thing, and having the build up to Orton's return be random RKO OUTTA NOWHERE!! in public. or backstage, or something. They could've teased his return that way and the crowd would've been going out of their minds.
It's a damn shame.

I really didn't have a problem with it. Bryan didn't win it, so the other guy who should've did. The first hour or so was good, the title match was a MOTY front runner with an elbow that looked better than anything Punk ever did and would've made Savage proud, and we had a cameo with the Rock to cap things off. I thought it was a fun show.

That shit would be cool, but we would need Randy to explain why in a 25 minute promo at the beginning of each RAW, otherwise he is RKOing people just for the sake of RKOing people.I think we can all agree that Orton is going to come back huge with the crowd going batshit for him to RKO shit out of nowhere..and they should do exactly that. A month of Randy running around whatever city Raw or Smackdown is in that week RKO-ing the shit out of things out of nowhere.
