  1. Anyone else thinking they may have decided on Dean vs Brock for Mania? That would explain a lot about the Wyatts tonight.

It could work. Heyman could say Brock had Roman dead to rites with the kimura lock until Ambrose came with the chair. Say Ambrose got in Brock's way and go from there.

I'm really into that match, provided Ambrose gets to look credible and not the punching bag he's been so far

I think we saw the seeds planted tonight with Dean not being able to pick up Brock. He tries a few more times before Mania to no avail, only to blow the roof off Dallas when he takes Brock to Suplex City. It'd be an amazing moment and if Brock gives him the rub and sells it, immediately puts Dean into a credible belt contender slot going forward.

Was it me or was the literal burial of Brock tonight the most meta thing in the busness in a while?

  2. The one thing you do have going for Trips holding onto the belt post WM, and flaunting it. You have a credible foundation for the shield reuniting as the guys who were the authority's watchdogs not too long ago biting the hand that once fed them. They've established themselves as guys who can work on their own but really knowing that together they're stronger than the authority.

At least, I'd like to think that's a valid way it could go when Seth comes back. YMMV.

  3. Trish doesn't have a better brawl than Charlotte/Sasha on NXT TV 7/15/15 IMO, and I have seen those Victoria street fights. I'd put the second match Charlotte had for the title against Nikki Bella, that 7/15/15 Sasha match, and the four-way from TakeOver: Rival up against any three matches Trish has ever had in her career, and I enjoyed the Mickie James match and Lita matches (which I assume are the first three matches that would come to mind for a typical Trish fan) for the spectacle, as well as Trish's heel work against Lita in general.

My point being is that you have absolutely fantastic workers in NXT, and they have ridiculously good matches. The problem is that they get hamstrung when they get to the main roster and their matches on Raw/Smackdown/PPV looking considerably weaker. When you had the Women's Division, there was no developmental for them to come up from that was doing anything noticeable so the good and the bad got the same airtime. I'm not taking anything away from NXT, because where women's wrestling is concerned..hell..wrestling in general is concerned it's a far better product.

  4. Go back and watch Trish vs. Steph at No Way Out 2001. It's a violent little brawl and there's more of them with Trish vs. Lita around the same time. That was rookie Trish. She would only improve from there. This idea that she couldn't go is incorrect.

I'm convinced that any of the women from that era would pretty well mop the floor with any of the divas except for maybe Paige, Becky, and Sasha. I've not been impressed by anything that Charlotte has done except make the main roster.

  5. If they push it right, I am all for a Show/Strauman program as Show's career is winding down. I really enjoy face Show, and it would be fun just to see those big hosses beat the hell out of each at Mania. It'd also be a nice moment for the montage that gets shown whenever Show gets inducted.

  6. As far as post PPV Raw goes, this was hardly the worst that we've had. Rock trolling the backstage and using his usual Roadto Wrestlemania Say What I Want And Get Away With It spot post Rumble was brilliantly employed tonight. It got New Day over and boosted the Usos which desperately need it because they've been stagnant as fuck lately. Maybe we'll get a spot with him and Trips leading up to Mania, one can hope. Styles and Jericho was adequate but we all know AJ is destined for greater things. Trips as Authority Champ is going to be drizling shits so we're gonna need everyone else to step up to cover it. He needs to be The Game again for it to have any meaning. I think the swerve is gonna be Ambrose up for the belt and there won't be a damn thing Reigns can do about it given his lack of help he's offered his so called "brother". Fastlane wiĺl be filler prior to WM and wont mean shit.

  7. My hope is that Trips ignores Roman entirely and focuses on ghe one guy he faced as the last man in the Rumble - Ambrose. What better way to piss Reigns off than to give title shots to the last man who stood against him, especially using the crowd response as a barometer of Ambrose being the possible Champion?
