I saw it too. After he took that hat off and did the eyeroll, the magic of the Undertaker was gone, and the character fled in that fleeting moment. A world weary, exhausted, and  Undertaker entered the the ring. A broken, battered, and exhausted Mark Calloway left it. And shit on the match as you will, I wept post matcheck. Just as much as seeing what one man did to himself over the years for our entertainment, a paycheck, and his own ego/love of the game, as I did for watching one of the last vestiges of better times disappear into the floor in a cloud of stage fog.

The funny (actually sad) thing about Braun's placement at WrestleMania beyond what's been said is that tonight on the go home show this dude cut a fucking MONEY promo too.  It made me want to see Braun and Show again.  Seriously.  and yet they are in the battle royal on the pre show, amazing

Strauman's promo boiled him down to being Beefcake-era Erc Carman.

"Screw you guys, I do what I waaaant!" and I'm surprised Vince didn't have him throw in a "Cash me outside, howbahdah?!"

  3. Here's something people might be forgetting. Last year WM got wasted by NXT Takeover. Maybe they're tanking on purpose because they're thinking they'll get shown up Again? Wild theory but I'll chuck it out there.

I guess Vince really dislikes Rusev's haircut?

So does Avril Lavigne, circa Sk8er Boi.

I found it funny that early in the show the "Jack Tunney is my President" sign got confiscated and the "CNN is fake news" sign didn't.

Well, with the current POTUS temperament being what is, and the owner's wife being on the cabinet you can't look like you're disagreeing...

But you know it's a good feud segment with an important title at stake when the heel's lines are all "Hey, aren't the new Star Trek and Ghostbusters movies terrible? My opponent is those things and I'm the originals and he's Melissa McCarthy and I know you all hate her!" That is brilliant and topical writing, not at all sounding like internet neckbeard stuff. I can totally imagine Ric Flair saying that to Dusty Rhodes or Terry Funk saying that to Jerry Lawler, I tell you what.

Eh, but the rest of the show was pretty good, even if the first segment was twice as long as it should have been. Jericho is magical in the best way.

Wasn't expecting a Jinder Mahal return. I mean, he's a decent wrestler, but I would have thought he'd be more useful on NXT (or... maybe Smackdown?) than a crowded Raw. Time will tell.

Since Jinder has brothers in the cwc, they may be setting the table for a family feud or a stable.
