That is not what he said...he wants an earthquake so big that California is not longer attached to the North American containment. Nope. Schools still have to vacate wins if a player participates while ineligible due to signing stuff for others to sell or promotional purposes. It's just a much harder case for the NCAA to prove, and they have a hard enough time nailing people when they have solid evidence of money changing hands. Usually in those situations, they'll take whatever the school is willing to give (typically re-education for the player, cease-and-desist/disassociation for the seller/promoter, maybe one of those classic Monday ineligible/Tuesday reinstated deals) and call it case closed.
Actually I was meaning if the school has Johnny sign a football that is then sold at a football event wouldn't that mean likely ever major school is in violation.

I will assume there is clause the exempts schools from the latterYeah, deferred compensation is also a violation.It's ALSO a violation if you sign stuff, don't take money, but know that the person you're signing for intends to sell it or use it for promotional purposes.

I cant see them doing a 30 for 30 since they did a pretty in depth OTL on the Florida A&M deal, and any Penn State doc has to wait till the trails for the three staff members happens unless your going for the heres the story so far and that comes off as more of an OTL show then a 30 for 30.

Random question about NCAA rules. Would it be a retroactive penalty/issue if any big name player signed a bunch of stuff and said pay me x number after I declare for the NFL?

I still don't know what the grounds for suspending A-Rod more than 50 games is supposed to be. He has not been suspended for PED use before, so, under the rules, he is technically a first time offender, and thus it should be 50 games, and I hope he kills MLB over this. Not because I'm a big A-Rod fan, but because what the fuck is the point of having a system if they aren't going to follow it? And because I hate Selig more than any player ever.
I think the argument is like with Bryun that he lied and or impeded MLBs investigation plus if the rumors are true the fact that he was a runner or at least bring guys to the his guy is where the other part comes from.

The crazy thing is that if the autograph dealer kept all of the money there is no rule against it. So the NCAA rule is that any and everyone can profit from a college athlete, but the college athlete. Can we just get rid of these NCAA assholes already? They claim they are protecting college athletes, except they seem to only worry about keeping them broke. Let's get rid of them and let there be a free market like every other industry in the country.
Interesting question if the NCAA finds he did brake a rule and he is suspended could Johnny sue for restraint of trade?

I kind of wish there was an option on Xcom to do just missions like start with a crew roster and then randomly as you go you can upgrade and such
