  1.

If folks haven't seen some of the proposed fan designed Washington (insert team name) things - check them out.It still baffles me that except for sheer stubbornness that the team doesn't change it.Some of them are amazing (most of them using the "Warriors" name) and it is a license to print money

It is and the minute the NFL gives Washington the same deal or similar deal the Cowboys have for licensing rights the name will change.

That or they threaten them with another salary cap penalty.  The league could stop this right now if they really wanted too, but like most racial issues most people don't care as long as it's not about them.  The name is clearly out of the realm of decency, but because there aren't enough native american's to make enough noise complaining people think it's okay.  There is no reason to name a sports team a racial epithet and I don't understand why we have tolerated this shit this long.

Because most people don't know the story behind the teams name and until I saw the story Keith Olberman did on his show about the history of the teams name I was actually on the 'change it/dont change it I dont care my teams the freaking Chiefs what room do I have to say anything' side...now I'm on the change it side but also a realists and know that for it to change the NFL has to give Snyder something and the only thing they can is a new marketing deal.

  3. The Pro Bowl itself is dreadful why should the unis be any different.  BTW they aint that bad but really why try to make snazzy Pro Bowl uniforms.  Like someone is going to buy an AFC jersey online

But there wont be any more AFC/NFC jerseys to buy online since there moving to the captions and drafting the teams.

  4. And on the other end of the spectrum, there will be a "Bowl Game" played at Marlins Ballpark next year. The Ñoooo!!! ¡Que Barato! Bowl will be notable because it will be played on the site where the Orange Bowl once stood and because no one will come.

    Or care
  5. I'll be honest. This talk about moving Jacksonville to LA doesn't make much sense to me. How would moving to Los Angeles improve the Jaguars? Yes the Browns moving to Baltimore and becoming the Ravens did give them two Super Bowl titles and the same for the Rams when they moved to St Louis. The Rams and the Raiders weren't exactly doing too hot in LA until they actually moved out of LA. Is the change in scenery going to change the Jaguars any in Los Angeles? Its a conflicting situation because Los Angeles itself hasn't proven that they can be a winning city, for the NFL that is. Yet, changing cities has proven winning teams. The only people benefiting out of this would be the NFL because a bigger market would make bigger money for NFL. Am I making any sense out of this because my blood sugar is really low right now and I need to find something to eat .

Because you can swap the LA Jags with the Stl Rams so that the Stl Rams are no longer in the NFL West yet east of Dallas

  6. A thought that came up today while talking with a coworker about the Wade/Durant thing....and its a big what if...but I was wandering what you all would say.

What if in 2003 instead of Cleveland having the #1 pretty much any other of the lottery teams had the #1. Assuming Lebron still goes first and everything else plays out as is ie he leaves for Miami...how different would the narrative of his career be? And would it change the impact if he then went to Cleveland after this season?

  7. Is there something about blonde former ESPN employees that they are required to hate each other?

No but it's pretty well know that Beadle and Andrews didn't get along. Beadle was one of the only people to flat out admit she watched the peep hole video and question Erin's motives in how she handled the aftermath (IE: Going on Oprah and Dancing with the Stars).
  8. So is Mile High set up differently then other stadiums or is ESPN making it easier to here the players on the field cause after that punt I heard a Donkey scream out in pain. And I know we can her Payten and his calls

  9. Melton's done. And the Bears, as usual for such a nickel and dime classless shithouse franchise, had franchise tagged him so he's fucked next year.

Then he as a member of the NFLPA needs to fight to have the franchise tag removed from the CBA.
