His lawyers are say that they new the DNA could come back as a match because it was consonantal.

How would people feel if the judges where made available at the post fight press conference like the fighters are?
-
Because that happens dozens of times every game and no one gives a shit about linemen.
FWIW, ESPN's Sportscience guys definitively proved that the ball was catchable without interference.http://www.patspulpit.com/2013/11/19/5121100/rules-breaking-down-the-final-play on a patriots site, no less. Only grey area was if it was catchable and that can be debated ad infinitum. Sick of hearing the whining about it on tv and everywhere. (obligatory reference to patriots holding the saints on last play of that game and getting a no call) Go panthers.
I said this to alot of people IRL and it's my honest opinion, if Gronk made more of a play for the ball, instead of standing around begging for a flag, maybe they would have gotten the call.
But they didn't. The better team won. Also, where's the outrage for no call on the Charles Johnson legwhip?
Unless said linemen are using racial slurs in voice mails to other linemen

The dust is semi-settled but I'll add my 2 cents. I scored the fight 3-2 to GSP and all rounds were 10-9, also I thought that Hendricks won the fight.
I think that this fight, plus all the previous controversial decisions, just proves that the scoring system needs an overall change, not just .5 and such shitty tinkering.
This is likely really stupid but how can you score the fight 3-2 to GSP but say you thought Hendricks won the fight?

If it's a penalty (I thought it was), it's D holding - or at the absolute lightest Illegal Pass Play Contact - because a) the hold started before the ball was thrown and the ball was intercepted 3-5 yards in front of where Gronk was when the ball arrived, making it uncatchable. Of course, the reason it was uncatchable was because of the hug he was receiving at the time, but aside from the holding penalty, I don't think the rules can compensate for that.
It was defensive holding, not interference, as it started way before the pass. It would give them one more chance from the 15(?) yard line? Not a gimmeeBringing back the Patriots getting "screwed" twice this season from last week's thread for a minute. They didn't get screwed against the Jets, the refs made the call they were supposed to make, as per the rule book. Let's also not forget they got away with a holding call on the game winning touchdown vs New Orleans. I think last night's call was wrong, so that puts them at 1-1 in the "bad call that determines the outcome" department.
Hoping that "Less Shitty Than Normal" Geno Smith shows up to play QB for the Jets this week, so they have a chance at winning. They did just set the record for the longest run from the start of a season alternating wins and losses, so at least it's a history making season.
Gronkowski was the intended receiver on that play, I would assume that makes the penalty pass interference, and not just holding.
The ball was at the 16, I believe, so since it was holding not PI, it would be 1st down and Goal from the 8 (half the distance) for 1 untimed play since the clock had expired.
PI = spot of foul = in end zone = 1 yard line.

It just felt odd to me how much trouble Big Show had with Ryback and how much offense Maddox got in on Orton going into them main eventing one of the bigger shows of the year. So, we were supposed to cheer for Maddox right? Because his hope spot seemed designed to do that. I do not understand how The Authority acts sometimes, it seems murky.
I think it was more that we were supposed to cheer Randy "Face of the WWE" Orton getting potentially embarrassed by Brad Maddox of all people.
And the Authority's actions made perfect sense: Give Randy essentially the night off while punishing Maddox for his part in the fiasco last week. Meanwhile they stick Show in with a guy who can lift him up on his shoulders.
I...What? How much offense Maddox got in? He snuck a quick shot in with the mic, pushed Orton into the post, tried to sneak a quick pin, then promptly got destroyed.
He also got in the DDT on the floor (I believe) or before the pin.

I really know the answer to this question, but why does Dana have his panties in such a twist that GSP wants to take some time off? If his heart's not in fighting right now for whatever reason, he shouldn't have to fight, even if a rematch wiith Hendricks is a license to print money. If he doesn't wanna make that money, so what?
That said, he should formally retire and give up the belt. Then if he wants to come back, he's a challenger. No interim champions while he finds his smile.
Of course, if this is all bargaining tactic on GSP's part, in the words of Emily Latella, "never mind."
I'd say Dana has his panties in a twist because GSP isn't willing to do that ie give up the belt. I think GSP wants his cake and to eat it too. He wants to go away for a year or two but doesn't want to give up the belt.

That's crazy...we have this rule in place but you frown on judges using it which means the commission is influencing judges decision.
-
So if everyone can pretty much agree that round one is a toss up shouldn't it then go down at 10-10 making the fight a tie...is that a better out come?

Why did a second run off the clock after Ginn got up to celebrate the TD?

Was there any story when X-Pac showed up in WCW with Hall and Nash as part of NWO?
-
Yeah, I did that. Unfortunately, they're not getting new systems until the middle of December. All they told me was they'd get me one "as soon as humanly possible." I'm thinking that's retailese for "go away and come back when the next shipments arrive."
Many of the large retailers in Canada aren't getting their next batch until after Christmas. A friend was thinking he'd just pick one up next week after his payday. Whoops.
Just wondering what exactly did you expect the retailer to tell you? if they don't have any and they have no idea when they will get any?

I think it was worst then Jones/Gus cause Jones actually hurt Gus. George had some good jabs, and landed lots, but never came close to doing any damage to Hendricks. On first viewing this did not seem Machida vs. Shogun 1 bad. More like Jones/Gus or Condit/Diaz.
But the rules don't say anything about 'damage'

They have to do an instant rematch here, to make everything right. You can do Robbie Lawler vs. Condit/Brown winner in the meantime to determine a clear cut #1 contender.
How do you do an instant rematch when the champ is saying he doesn't want to fight 'for some time'

Also the Fresh Prince where will gets shot and he's joking about it while Carlton is all about getting himself ramboed up

Something like that actually happened to Northwestern in football last year. Four of their eight conference games were against teams coming off byes, along with one non-conference game and the bowl game. Also, one of the non-conference games was against a team coming off of nine days rest. Shit just happens sometimes - it's not an intentional attempt to bone the team
I could see that happening more often in college either there's like two or three bye weeks not counting bowl game prep.

It took them till week 10 to figure this out?

NFL: KC Chiefs
College Football: Texas A&M
College Basketball: Kansas
EPL: Tottenham Hotspurs
Chiefs is cause I live in KC same with KU. A&M has to do with remembering watching there games specifically the former day after thanksgiving A&M vs Texas game. Spurs are the team of a good friend and when he got me into EPL I just went with them.

I know it's a sad statement but I think the key to the Chiefs Donkeys is how tight the refs call anything dealing with Chiefs defensive players and Payten.
-
That would actually already be an issue for players/coaches/staff of the Donkeys and Seahawks since both states allow personal use. Now Bowe would have had an issue since he was carrying WAY more then the legal limit. Thou I guess the NFL argument if someone ever tried to fight it would be that even if it's legal the CBA trumps it. But I would also guess in 10-20 years as more states begin to see the tax stream that the next CBA changes. Also there is a study out I've seen but can't remember where that says a majority of Americans believe neither pot or alcohol should lead to someone being fired.
Speaking of which, if and when marijuana becomes legal nationwide, does the Federal Government ruling override the NFL's stand on it, or can the NFL still call it a no no?The Broncos will be able to at least keep the illusion of being real up until Peytons feet fall off at the ankle. The Chiefs are a team I keep waiting to implode. I mean Alex Smith at QB and Andy Reid as head coach you know that team is going to just fall apart sometime and it will be glorious. They're the great regular season record team that is going to get killed in the playoffs (especially if Bowe's marijuana arrest stuff (court date currently in Dec) goes bad for him and he gets suspended at the end of the year, which would be strike 2 for him I believe.

And there is a person on twitter that claims EA isn't at fault cause they aren't the ones who made the players like real players.
