Yeah, they will be doing House Shows head-to-head with live Raws. Doesn't make sense for Smackdown to run Saturday/Sunday/Do nothing Monday/Live Show Tuesday.

On a side note, BOTH Cena and Orton are advertised for my town's Smackdown House Show in late-September. Cena's being a special announcement on the arena's website today.

Easy Smackdown runs Live Show Tuesday, House shows Wednesday-Saturday. Sunday/Monday off. Raw runs Thursday-Sunday with Live Show Monday.

ESPN is reporting that the USOC is "banning" any company from tweeting about the Olympics or the qualification trials unless they are a sponsor of the team.

    LOL

And how exactly do they intend to enforce this?

I'm mildly interested in reading Dykstra's recent autobiography but I kinda hate to put money in his pocket.  Besides, I assume the book either glosses over lots of the sordid stuff, or I'll need a shower afterwards.

See if you can find it used.

Doubtful. I wouldn't at all be surprised to see Steph keep showing up on SD.

With Shane and DBryan looking at her all confused but just shrugging and going on with there day

  5. Also remember that Bloom almost didnt get to play at Colorado because he dared to be an olympic level skier which to do requires some level of endorsement which then to the NCAA meant he wasn't an amateur. But its ok for guys to go play minor league baseball.

I know it's been mentioned before but it really is ridiculous how under prepared WWE is for this, kayfabe-wise at least. They haven't bothered to mention anything about what will happen to the titles/champions*, and I can already picture Cole squealing "Dean Ambrose has been drafted to Raw!! What does this mean for Smackdown and the WWE Title?!?" when if they wanted to portray the company as being a competently run organisation, they would've already presented what would happen in certain scenarios.

*Unless they have, and I've missed it.

To be fair if all the reports are true this is less about what WWE wants and more about what USA network wants. So it's very possible the WWE at this point doesn't even know what is going to happen with titles.

So, Brady is not going to appeal DeflateGate to the Supreme Court.

Part of me is disappointed that Brady won't be taking Goodell to the Supreme Court, I think the whole thing was a travesty where the NFL played Calvinball with their own rule set because the Pats had been too good for too long, but I can understand just wanting it over and done with.

I hope the pats go 16-0, win the superbowl, and have that slimy conniving Fuck Goodell have to smile and hand over the Lombardi trophy.

I think this means one of three things. A) Brady and his people got word that the Supreme Court was going to refuse to hear the case. B) They were reminded that if the court heard the case and came back with a tie vote it would go back to the last ruling which wasn't in his favor. C) Belichick told Brady to sit the f-down already.

  8. If KD leaves OKC will that put to bed the talking point about how the extra year teams with 'bird rights' can give will keep players with those teams. Is Melo the only player to use it? (And even that was after forcing a trade the year before?)

Then he wrote a ten page letter to WWE about how they were screwing up everything and told them how much better the booking would be if they listened to his ideas and then vowed that he was DONE with WWE...  only to continue buying tickets and talking about WWE 24/7.

So pretty much every wrestling fan ever?

    Welcome to the cap jump.

One way or another you have to spend 90% of the new cap, which went up 24 million bucks. There aren't nearly enough elite level players available to fill all open elite level salary space.

Imagine how much money teams would be offering KD if there wasn't a maximum.

Ok but answer this why couldn't teams to to players on there roasters and offer to extend them by adding years and money? Instead of throwing big money at none elite players?

It is still, theoretically, possible that Wales and Iceland could play a one game winner-take-all match to determine the champions of Europe.

I will give all the monies for it

PKs would be so much more interesting if shooters weren't allowed to do that thing where they start their run up then stop dead and wait for the goalie to fall over one way or the other before they shoot. Frankly if that is allowed goalkeepers should be allowed to come off the line.

The funny thing is shooters are supposed to be carded for stutter stepping during a kick just how a goalie is to be carded for coming off there line before the kick. Yet I dont think the refs really know what is and what isnt a stuffer step.

  13. I could be wrong about this so if I am please correct me. But one thing to remember when you see guys getting huge contracts the salary floor this season is something like 85% of the Cap.
