So after getting the
snow
spoiled for me, which was totally my own fault. I ended up looking at the a video of the tennis mini-game, and it looks phenomenal. Nothing too in-depth, obviously, but it looks like it could be fun to kill a few hours.

Question for EVA: (Aside from the money.) Why do Nebraska and Southern Miss play each other on a, somewhat, regular basis? They have games scheduled with each other for years.

There are a lot of things that have been said about the Big Ten and the Big Ten Network, but them losing the commentary feed on the Nebraska game, and playing "Runaround Sue" was phenomenal.

I really think that if someone robbed Dave Meltzer's house, and took a laptop or TV, and would be upset, but wouldn't really care as much as one of us would care. On the flip side, if someone came in, and took a crate of tapes I feel like Dave would hunt them down like Charles Bronson.

As a Pitt fan, I think I can say that Chryst is the worst of the lot since Johnny Majors second stint in the early 90's. I really hope they go 2-10 or something like that so the new Chancellor will fire him and the AD.
I just want to apologize, as a Nebraska fan, that you have to deal with Steve Pederson. It can happen, he can be vanquished!

I hate to be one of those Cleveland fans, but you know the QB situation sucks when I think back to a bustop conversation I had In 2006 where a dude was telling me the Browns should have tried to get Vince Young. I'm pretty sure, hindsight being 20/20, he might have been right.
I remember back in 2003 when I was so excited that the Browns named KELLY HOLCOMB starter over Tim Couch. This, among other things has lead me to my current NFL atheism.

I went to the Southern Miss game last night to see the kickoff of the Monken Era, so I missed that game. I finally got around to watching it this morning, and the way they shot the Howard's Rock tradition was truly awesome. I'm not even a Clemson fan and I was jacked.But I did get to see Southern Miss stretch their losing streak to 13 games, live and in person. So that was cool. I guess.The Clemson entrance is getting a better hype job than some bowl games will later this year. Seriously, this is pretty cool.
How does their offense look? Can they move the ball with any success? If so they may have a shot against Nebraska's defense next week.

Were you ever on the list Nikita?
Do you know of any wrestlers who got placed in that 300-500 range that actually got any kind of recognition bump?
I feel like back in the 90's indy guys actually benefited from a spot on the 500. I know for the longest time I only knew of Reckless Youth, Mr. Ooh La La, and Quack from the list, and it made me want to know more about them. But nowadays, who even reads it? And it feels less beneficial than say someone passing around youtube matches.
I think I remember Nikita being on the list in 2002 (which is the only edition I ever read), it was either that, or the big "profiles of every promotion in the US" magazine they put out at around the same time. I remember being a big fan of a belt having to do with brass knuckles

Finally, my week is complete. If Rodgers got hurt, we'd be 4-12 at best unless they signed some veteran stop-gap via trade or off free agency that I don't have an inkling of existing.

Edit: Charlie Batch, Byron Leftwich, Tyler Thigpen, Trent Edwards, Jamarcus Russell, Matt Leinart, Jordan Palmer. These seem to be the semi-active name free agents still in existence. Good grief, Vince Young really is the best option.
I swear my eyes turned "Tyler Thigpen" into "Yancey Thigpen" the first time I read this.

A&M has retained the law firm that handled the Cam Newton situation for Auburn, so the odds are pretty strong that Manziel will play this year. Those guys are the world champions of bending over the NCAA.

You might be able to answer this better than most people, but why didn't the Bulls just keep Aldridge instead of trading him for Tyrus Thomas?We don't have any money because of Boozer's magic bean contract. Aldridge wanted to come over but we couldn't get the pieces right. We're pretty much locked into this core group for one more season, which isn't bad if D-Rose sets foot on the court and doesn't fall into a billion pieces.In 2014 we'll amnesty Boozer and we'll finally bring in Nikola Mirotic to see if he's the real or the jabroni. Deng will probably be gone too and we'll use his money to go hunting for another big fish. As a fan, I'm in a pretty good spot as my team willactually be competitive next season(as opposed to tanking) and will hopefully be better the season after.
