Well tonight's NXT tapings were pretty damn great. Lots of rematches from last night and some really good matches.
First taping had a main event of Kevin Owens vs Adrian Neville. Ends in a double count out and Owens beats down Neville and gives him a powerbomb on the ring apron. Love that that move is the most dangerous move in NXT.
Sasha Banks had three matches. First was a rematch vs Charlotte that might have been better than last nights. Stiff match with Sasha briniging back the hard slaps to the back. Ric Flair was at ringside and Charlotte won clean. Second match vs vs Alexa Bliss in a short match. Last match was Charlotte/Nattie vs Team Bae with Sasha rolling up Charlotte. Good match and team Bae was on fire all night. Becky even beat Bayley clean earlier in the night.
Finn/Hideo had a big night. First they beat the Ascension. After that they won singles matches( Finn/Tyson and Hideo/Curtis Axel). Hideo's match wasn't that good but I blame Axel on that. Finn/Tyson was awesome.
Lucha Dragons retained vs the Vaudevillans. Not a good match.
In the biggest upset in years. Blue Pants finally beat Carmella thanks to Enzo distracting. It almost seems like they are breaking up Enzo/Cas but I'm not sure. Hope not.
They did the Baron Corbin vs Bull Dempsey match. Baron beat Bull in about a minute.
Main event was the Neville/Zayn title rematch. This was set up during the second hour of the tapings when Zayn had his big interview as champion. Crowd was going crazy for him. Neville came out and asked for a rematch. Regal set it up. Really great match almost up to last nights but not enough. Zayn retained in a clean finish. After the match, Kevin Owens attacked Sami again and laid him out.

Other notable matches were Team Bae over Carmella/Bayley and Baron Corbin beating Tyler Breeze Tyler took most of the match till the finish.
How does Corbin look when he has to go longer than 20 seconds?
It depends on the opponent. I've seen him have long matches 3 times( vs Dillinger, Breeze and Elias Sampson) He looked good in the Breeze match but he didn't do much. I'm interested in how he does vs Bull. Bull had a good match vs Solomon Crowe where a lot of the match was built around a bearhug.

Went to the NXT house show tonight in Orlando. The only trial run match they ran for R Evolution was the tag match. Lucha Dragons won a non title match which was weird as I thought the challengers usually win those matches. Main event was a really good fatal 4 way between Zayn/Neville/Viktor and Finn Balor. Seeing Finn in with Sami and Neville was so great. Viktor really held his own too. Other notable matches were Team Bae over Carmella/Bayley and Baron Corbin beating Tyler Breeze Tyler took most of the match till the finish. Also sitting in the crowd was Mad Man Pondo and Crazy Mary Dobson. That was cool.

I'm sad Matt doesn't like babyface Dirty White Boy. I'm a much bigger fan of his babyface run than heel run.
Also there were Four Dirty White Boy tag teams. Three in 1990 alone. Porteau was the first one:
Jimmy Powell was the second. He only lasted a couple of weeks and was a guy from Georgia.
Tom Burton was the last one.
My favorite Dirty White Boy angle besides the one with Prichard is this:

I really enjoyed NXT tv but Alex Riley almost killed the main event for me. I know he's supposed to be the heel commentator but he's just too overbearing. It almost sounds like Zayn/Riley is gonna happen sooner than later. If it does, I hope Zayn sends him to future endeavor land.
Went to #NxtOrlando tonight and it was good. Lot of the big time NXT people were gone(Zayn, Neville, Charlotte, Breeze) so some guys that normally don't make the Full sail shows were booked. I really enjoyed the Chad Gable/Angelo Dawkins/Sawyer Fulton amateur wrestling stable. Gable is gonna be a big star. He's got a hateable face and a unique style. I hope one day Angle manages him. Best match of the night was CJ Parker vs Solomon Crowe. I've started to enjoy Parker. He's real fun on these small house shows working the crowd. He's also hilarious. Main event was Hideo/Finn vs Ascension. It wasn't too good as most of the match was Hideo getting beat down and Finn looked blown up early. He did have a nice dive. The finish was a DQ on the Ascension which was so shitty. I hope they have a better match on the 11th. Finn/HIdeo need to get away from the Ascension as soon as possible.

Why can't they just have Hugo do both the spanish and English commentary? He used to do it for WWC. I don't mind Vamp but Striker is horrible and sounds so phony.
-
Jerry Lynn, Cody Michaels and The New Kids(Brian Christopher and Tony Williams) vs The Memphis Mafia(Dirty White Boy, Doug Gilbert, Joseph Magliano(maggs) and Sam Bass Lowe)
-
I thought the episode was fine but it didn't really feel like a alternative. Especially with matches like Blue Demon Jr and Chavo Guerrero. Hopefully it gets better with the AAA guys coming in. The commentary was awful. Especially Matt "I'm marking out bro" Striker. They need a straight guy reign a guy like Vamp in and Striker isn't it. It was also weird to see a woman like Sexy Star play the progressive intergender wrestling role compared to her AAA character. They should have changed her name like they did with almost everyone else.

Batman and Popeye vs Leatherface and Freddy Kruger

Axl and Ian Rotten, Reggie B Fine and Bull Pain vs The spiders(headbangers) Speillbinder and the Colorado Kid from 1994 USWA

When's the last time that they has been anyone around as long as the Bellas who seems to have no talent, are not over and nobody cares about?
Kane is still around 15+ years later. Although he has some talent.

I moved to central Florida 5 months ago and have been driving since and I'll say Orlando has some of the most reckless drivers I've ever seen.Florida is such a shitty place to learn too, I don't know if we have the worst drivers on Earth but they're definitely in the discussion.
I don't know the exact same name of the highway, but I've gotten on the highway close to the Amway Center and there's a ton of horrible drivers who are always on there.
Also driving around the Disney area where all the tourist around is pretty horrible.
I guess i've come to the conclusion most people here are reckless drivers because their insurance will probably cover the costs if they total wreck any car.
I-4 and the 408 are just the worst. I refuse to take those big highways around town cause it's just too dangerous.
I took public transit for the first time in about a decade today. I don't know how people do it. With buses being over a hour late and $4.50 for a day pass. Just ridiculous.

Is it just me or does Buddy Jack kind of look like Pat Patterson in that pic.
He looks more like Woody Paige.

I haven't seen this weeks NXT but Itami had a real good match with CJ Parker of all people at the NXT live event. It was worked WWE style but with lots of kicks. The show also featured Chad Gable who I think it gonna be a big deal. Reminds me of Angle and has some unique moves.

Robert Gibson and his nephew Jason as the New RNR Express when Ricky stopped teaming with him.
-
I need to see Baron in a match that last longer than 30 seconds to really get a read on him. I saw him vs CJ Parker a couple weeks ago at a house show and wasn't impressed. His new entrance that he had the the last taping was really cool though. If there's one thing NXT does well, it's entrances.

Masters is 31 and he's probably the best selling babyface in the country not named Goldust. Who's better?
Bayley and possibly Zayn.
I want to see the Hardys back under a RVD/Jericho type deal. I'd love to see Hardys vs Usos or Gold and Stardust. Hell even Jeff vs Harper. Also Maryse should come back and manage the Miz. Like WWE's version of Maria and Mike Bennett.

Speaking of W*ING, the tag champs toured Memphis back in 1994. They were Nobutaka Araya and I think the other was a unmasked The Winger.

When was the last time WWE had 3 divas matches on 1 show? That Rosa match was brutal and the Brie match wasn't much better. Brie has the best music though.
I want to see Luke Harper turn babyface and retire Kane. I hope that happens soon.

He was himself but still had the big entrance without the paint. I'm guessing they are going the Muto/Muta route with him.
