Funny, it just popped up my Twitter TL.   She's "being eyed" for a Disney+ series as:

      Reveal hidden contents

    She-Hulk

      Reveal hidden contents

First one to make a Chyna joke gets a week off.

I haven’t seen that Mark Wahlberg film she was in, but if Expendables 3 is anything to go by then I’m not sure I want her acting an entire show every week. But I’m open to the idea.

On RAW, she was basically just playing herself a few minutes at a time.

I don't know what to expect out of James Gunn version exactly but I know two things.

    1. It should be a lot better than Ayer and the trailer company that was employed.  Low bar.

    2. It should look cool...

    3. Humor will feel less forced and more natural.

    4. We might actually care about these people.

"I'm Mary Poppins, y'all!" is a funny line that looks ridiculous on paper and would have been easy to screw up. But because of the setup throughout the story and the acting in the scene, it goes from ridiculous to tear-worthy.

Compare to something like, "We're bad guys. It's what we do." Hahaha, no. I wouldn't even remember that trash line if Margot weren't so attractive.

I mean X-Men animated series is something I'll probably watch through again right away.

I can't imagine ever watching that again. Some things just don't age well.

I bought the first X-Men season on amazon not long ago. There is a bit of nostalgia there, but not a lot. I will never forgive them for Rogue's voice. Rogue was my absolute favorite as a strapping teen of the Jim Lee X-Men era.

  4. My regular paid streaming services:

    • YouTube Red - or whatever they call it these days. YT is my channel surfing. (family plan - $16)
    • YouTube TV - I don't use this one much, but my dad uses it daily on our family plan, so I don't mind paying for it ($55)
    • Netflix - my dad pays for this family plan, most of the time, but I secretly throw a giftcard on there now and then

The rest of the services come and go for me. I currently have the Network and a Spotify/Hulu package. I am also on my brother's Apple Music family plan, which is nice.

ETA: Technically I also have the UFC Network. But I only paid for a month so I could show my dad Bonnar/Griffin as part of his introduction to MMA. I probably won't renew it when it expires in a couple of weeks.

You don't ask that to the fry cook though, they just go bug the bar waitress for a full cup of Beefeater and go out back for a smoke instead

Can confirm. I was a line cook at Olive Garden in college. We would sometimes trade the bartenders free food for Jack and Cokes. Nothing like being half drunk while working with hot oil, fire, and boiling water.

  6. I started watching the all nighter earlier. That Steamboat versus Austin match from August 1994 is fantastic.

I love the crew they got together in the hotel room for the party, too. Heenan is particularly funny, as always, especially clowning with Schiavone.
