I wish Twitter was around when HBK was in his prime.
The latest Between the Sheets podcast features a story about HBK literally pulling out his dick during a 1997 house show.

You think Seth or Brock are miserable?

Billy Corgan is one dude, not a multi-billion dollar company with a corporate infrastructure. So, yeah, they're an indy. If ROH is an indy, then so is the WWE. Sinclair and the WWE are both publicly traded companies. What's the difference? Was WCW an indy?

I checked the site and so far just see him in his regular red/white outfit. I''m thinking to order that though it got back ordered until March. For $60 I may just get that one but it's an insanely awesome figure.

I got the red and white one last week. It is amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. You have to see it in person. Well worth the price. I'm pretty much resigned to buying any and all variants they want to do. Gimme a whole Jushin Thunder Liger Corps.

2 Cold's WCW debut is probably one of the greatest debuts ever.
Jesus, watching that live, my head nearly exploded when he hit that 450. In a perfect world, Scorpio would've been a guy a major promotion built itself around. (Of course, in a perfect world, the wrestling business wouldn't have been pretty racist in the mid-90s, and Scorpio wouldn't have had a drug problem that likely hindered his career.)

On that indie show with Necro last weekend, they were actually doing Dan Maff's final indie show going away party. Felt a bit Wierd, given that he's only signing with RoH (which is an indie, that lets it's contracted talent work other indies, and is operating at a substantial financial loss), not WWE or AEW.
Ring Of Honor is owned by a company worth nearly 6 billion dollars.

Cabana Man Dan doesn't wrestle in the flip flops, but he does use them as a weapon for flip flop chops. Also, he's a very short man wearing a very large belt in that photo
They make great weapons.

A man whose last stint in UFC resulted in an involuntary Sloth from Goonies cosplay shouldn't be clapping back so quickly over what was likely a kayfabed jab.
Between his 2 UFC fights and the Teddy Hart story, I don't know why Punk thinks his ass can cash the checks his mouth keeps writing.

Yeah Dana Crushed Sasha on that Swanton!
That aside, Dana was the best worker in that match. Convince me otherwise.

I recommend the "Russian" category. The things those people can do in a sketchy looking apartment... *chef's kiss*
Oh wait, you were probably talking about Lars, and not speaking generally. Never mind.

If we're gonna drag Lars, let's drag him for the racism and homophobia, not the past as a sex worker or whatever conflicted feelings he may have about his sexuality.

It seemed like NJPW wasn't really into using ROH talent other than Omega.
Jeff Cobb, too, but he should probably give up on his dream of ever being a major player for them. They clearly don't see him as anything other than a midcarder, and after his G1 showing, it's not hard to see why.

Nice showings by Homicide, Dan Maff and Ophidian however, and a couple local standouts. As you can see, the small (18') ring fits snugly betwixt the bar and the stairs, leaving room for three standing rows on two sides to block the bathrooms. Indie intimacy...

Right now, Marty Scurll just comes off to me as a moderately less ridiculous Jimmy Havoc.
Do yourself a favor, then, and don't try too hard to familiarize yourself with Scurll's past work. He was even more ridiculous a couple of years ago.

TIL that Jimmy Valiant and Lazer Tron feuded with the New Breed, and honestly, I'm not sure that my brain is prepared to handle that.

Who actually books AEW? Is it just the Elite, with Jericho booking his own stuff? Because ye Gods, a head booker overseeing everything who could make the storylines more cohesive would do wonders for them. Though I really have no idea who would be available for that.

The word literally was not in the common lexicon until quite recently. People used to just use Truly or Sincerely. But then lots of people used to use them in connection with untruth and insincerity, to the point that they lost all meaning, so they literally had to find another word to use when expressing genuine truth, rather than simile.
Oh for fuck's sake

Too early to tell on the Dark Order stuff, but I chalk up people like Omega, Cody, Dustin, etc. running in for the save to help the Young Bucks as just friends trying to help their friends.
It's sad that WWE (and John Cena) has trained wrestling fans to not think that babyfaces would all be friends with each other.

Dude spent most of his early life in Minnesota. How has he not learned how to do that yet?

Because he's a shitty wrestler being carried by a lame gimmick?

This might be the dumbest thing said in an AEW thread.
We've had someone say that AEW is a billion times better than any North American wrestling of the past 20 years, and someone else say they would literally take a bullet for Cody. The bar is a lot higher than you think.
