  1. Having Daniel Bryan co-sign Reigns really goes to show you how much WWE sees or at least acknowledges how over Bryan is.

I also dug the subtle Triple H acting job tonight. He was so disinterested and silent. Sting is fucking with him and can't focus on anything else.

And yeah, Heyman was heeling it guys. No one believes that, that's why he said it.

  2. I forgot this wasn't the "All-Encompassing Roman Reigns Thread". I thought the show was average. I really dug Kidd-Cesaro/Usos. But the show felt really underwhelming to me, probably because there was no World Title match.

  3. What happens when a bunch of people with very few problems have one tiny problem?  That doesn't scream 8 episodes to me, but ehh..

Maybe I'm wrong, but I will NEVER watch it to find out.  Of course I'm not exactly in the target demo.  The commercial during the Superbowl was pretty fucking hilarious though.  If NBC wants people to take the show seriously they got off to a bad start.

I wouldn't necessarlily call an adult slapping someone's else kid across the face a "tiny problem". I think the premise of the show is great, but with a title like "The Slap" you're bound for people not to take it seriously.

  4. I went to a Lucha Underground taping this past weekend. Great experience, and sat ringside. Will definitely be on TV when it airs on March. The only shitty part was during a segment that featured

    Angelico vs Ivelisse

In a pretty one sided match that featured a lot of sexist heelin', the guy behind me would not shut up and kept yelling stuff out to the silent crowd about how we should all be ashamed of ourselves for cheering, that Lucha Underground is better than that, delete the tape of the match, etc. Turns out he's some wrestling journalist named Brandon Stroud. Why am I not surprised? Everyone around him eventually snapped and told him to shut up and stop being so dramatic. Anyway, was definitely a super fun show. Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

  5. I for one, am happy they're pushing someone not named Batista/Cena/Orton. This is the WWE, a company that historically has pushed talent down our throat. Reigns has been in the WWE for a year and a half. Let's see how next couple of weeks leading up till 'Mania go before we write this guy off as a bust.

  6. I really hope Daniel Bryan changes his style because when he does the diving headbutt and the flat-back drop kick from the 3rd buckle- I keep thinking of what could possibly happen years from now as Daniel is already 'grandfathered-in' when it comes to concussions.

Yeah, you'd think guys would figure out how many necks that move has fucked up and just retire the move. I mean, I know a lot of moves cause wear and tear, but still....

  7. People running the show are aware they're supposed to be putting over their talent, right?

Not the shit that JBL does, right?

No because if talent can't get over after being set up to fail multiple times it's their own fault.....or something.
