  1. I'm sure Batista's look was because of that movie he's in Guardians of the Galaxy. At least the head.

Since they're in matches that means Bryan, Big Show, Lesnar are not in the Rumble. I thought Lesnar was gonna get some heat back instead of getting run off again.

Did you see Rowan try to flip the Oso over the top rope with the claw hold, I guess the Von Erich's didn't teach him how to do that.

  2. Bryan will be in it only if his broken brain heels. But Undertaker has to resurface at some point to get his heat back from the Shield maybe with Kane's help. Jake the Snake will be probably be the surprise entrant, but I don't see him lasting long.

  3. Looks like a pretty good show.

New Age Outlaws b Rhodes Brothers in a non-title match.  Vickie Guerrero did an interview in the middle of the match saying that the  Rhodes Brothers would have to face each other in the Rumble, and that allowed Billy to pin Cody using the trunks.

Paul Heyman did an interview saying Brock Lesnar was attacked by Show.  Heyman talked about how Show had knocked out an elderly war veteran.  Heyman said he doesn't fear Big Show because he's friends with Lesnar.  Show came out.  Heyman ran out of the ring and through the crowd to get away.  Show did a promo and said he was one of the original Heyman guys but isn't anymore and woud knock Lesnar out.

Rey Mysterio b Alberto Del Rio.  Del Rio laid Mysterio out with the armbar after the match.

Naomi b Tamina Snuka after a split legged moonsault

The Wyatt Family came out.  Bray started talking about his father, saying his father was never there for him.  Will be interesting if his father becomes a character.  He said his father betrayed him and cast him out like a sheep and Sister Abigail took hi out.  He said Bryan had turned him into the monster he was meant to be.

    Big E Langston b Fandango

Renee Young interviewed The Shield, also bringing up that it's every man for himself in the Royal Rumble and all three Sheild members are in.  Dean Ambrose said that nobody can stand up to the three of them.  But then Seth Rollins said he would throw out Ambrose in a heartbeat if it meant getting a title match.  Ambrose said he would do the same.  Reigns said he'd throw both out for a title shot, but they all agreed after the Rumble, they would still be a unit.

Usos b Jack Swagger & Antonio Cesaro.  Zeb Colter was at ringside in a wheelchair selling the KO punch.  The Usos were all taped up.  Swagger was pinned after a splash off the top rope.

They did a video package promoting Ric Flair giving the 49ers a pep talk last week and promoted all the media attention.

C.M. Punk came out and cut a promo on HHH for setting him up on Raw, saying HHH hides behind his wife.  The Shield came out, followed by the New Age Outlaws.  Kane then came out and told them to stop and The Authority doesn't want them attacking Punk.  He said Punk was paranoid and The Authority wants Punk to win the Royal Rumble and headline WrestleMania and that his orders were tomake sure Punk is in good shape for the Rumble.  Punk didn't believe him, and then Kane told The Shield and The Outlaws to attack Punk.  Punk was fighting them off and Kane choke slammed him to end the show.

Why are the New Age Outlaws getting a push? Del Rio won on Raw, Mysterio wins here. Looks like the beginning of the end of the Shield happens at the Rumble.

  4. They are basically giving Mania away for free, since with the 30 day free trail, they watch it, and just not sign up after it's over. While many of the talent are wondering what this is going to do with their payday.

They could bring back Tough Enough or some version of it, NXT doesn't count. I like the poker game idea, sounds interesting, but WWE doesn't mix babyfaces and heels.

I  just wish a better internet connection so I could sign up.

Our cable company contacted us and asked if we wanted them to add the Netflix channel which will have off the features and functions of their regular site. I wondered why couldn't WWE do that?

  5. It does feel like a legit heel turn to me too, if he's gonna be teaming with the Wyatt's. They're using this to elevate Bray Wyatt who is gonna be Cena's opponent at Mania. I to am a fan of the Kevin Sullivan/Raven/Bray Wyatt school of heels.

  6. I'm really bummed about losing Classics.  The WWE Network is looking to be a little pricier and I'd honestly just rather have a cable subscription then having to plug a damn laptop into the TV every time I want to watch old 'rasslin from my recliner.  (I know there are other options, but none of them are currently available to me).

But yeah, the selection this month is fantastic.  The Rumble selection is great.  Ended up staying awake much later than anticipated last night.

I agree completely. My Internet connection is not the best or the fastest, there's no way I subscribe online. I'm hoping for a cable network.

Oh, and Meltzer says Chris Benoit footage will be allowed on the network. But with a disclaimer. I wonder what the disclaimer will say? "the wwe does not endorse killing your family".

  7. I loved the final segment, I thought it was exciting as hell. At least they're going somewhere with Bryan. But at Mania it's going to be Bryan vs HBK, despite HBK's denials, according to Meltzer not so sure now. And they were planning on Bray Wyatt vs Cena with Hogan involved in some way. Maybe a tag with Cena. Not a exciting main is it. But I doubt they're gonna boo Bryan in any match up.

I loved the Lesnar angle, did you notice the guys in the front row when Lesnar sent Henry through the barricade, they were actors, reacting reacting exactly as they were told to. Lesnar vs Taker is still on the Mania books.

They're still negotiating with Goldberg, but he's driving a hard bargain =$.

The Old School Raw show would be a prefect way to bring back Hogan, assuming they're going that way.

  8. Already taped today, looks like a good show, and looks like Lesnar attacks Mark Henry on Monday's Raw.

WWE Smackdown was taped in Washington, D.C. and will air on January 3rd. Below are WWE Smackdown spoilers for the show:

    - The Shield kicked off WWE Smackdown with a promo. They talk about how they are stronger than ever and they will dominate the 2014 year much like they did last year. This sets up Rollins and Reigns vs. The Uso's.

    1. The Uso's defeated The Shield via disqualification when Dean Ambrose interfered. The Shield began to beat down the brothers until CM Punk came out and made the save. Vickie Guerrero came out and set up a six man tag team match for later tonight.

    2. R-Truth defeated Fandango when Cameron and Naomi appear on the stage and dance. This caused Fandango to be distracted and Truth to pick up the victory.

Backstage, Renee Young talks to Big E Langston. Langston talks about Brock Lesnar's attack on Mark Henry from WWE Raw. He challenges Lesnar to a match on Raw for next week. Curtis Axel appears and sets up Langston vs. Axel for later tonight.

    3. Cody Rhodes and Goldust defeated Luke Harper and Erick Rowan to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships. This was said to be an excellent championship match, with the champions getting a roll-up to retain the titles.

    4.  Nikki Bella defeated Aksana

    5. Big E Langston defeated Curtis Axel when he connected with the Big Ending.

    6. CM Punk and The Uso's defeated The Shield in the main event of the night. CM Punk connected with a Go To Sleep on Ambrose to pick up the victory for his team.

  9. AJ is basically playing the same character Maria played, once Maria became normal the fans lost interest real quick. Nattie was passable when she was paired with Beth Phoenix but without her she just seems lost.

And with Lesnar and Batista coming in soon, I don't Bryan being brought up the main event level anytime soon. If so it'll be only to be fed to them.

  10.

Yup, every new video posted today has a message from Mean Gene at the beginning saying the service will be discontinued on Jan. 31st. WWE thanks us for our years of support.

Guess they are going full steam ahead with the network roll out.

While I know that the network is going down, I haven't seen one of those Mean Gene videos telling us that it is gone.  Wonder if some cable companies have different rules. Haven't watched all of the new December stuff but probably half of it.

Now Meltzer says in the newsletter, the network will be more like Netflix not on cable anymore, not sure I plan to join now.

  11. Hi me again spoilers #3 for next week's Smackdown as WWE shuts down for Christmas. Looks like a good show.

    * John Cena comes out first and to a surprisingly loud (and somewhat unified) pop. He asks to face Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match on the program, but is interrupted by  The Shield. They beat Cena mercilessly, until Mark Henry comes in for the save, then the both of them get attacked and abused by the Shield.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E. Langston then comes out and the faces get the upper hand on Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns. Kane then arrives to make the matches for the show. Langston vs. Ambrose, Reigns vs. Henry, and Rollins vs. Cena.

1.) The Wyatt Family (w/Bray Wyatt) def. The Usos. Bray hit the ring after the match was over to hit “Sister Abigail” and end the segment.

    * WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton is interviewed by Renee Young. Dolph Ziggler interrupts him however, and a Kane makes a match between the two of them for later on in the program.

2.) Antonio Cesaro def. Cody Rhodes.

3.) Prime Time Players def. Curtis Axel / Ryback.

4.) *WWE World Heavyweight Champion* Randy Orton def. Dolph Ziggler. Orton wins a great match with the RKO.

5.) Daniel Bryan def. Damien Sandow. After the match, Bray Wyatt comes out to cut a promo on Bryan and discusses Bryan joining the Wyatt Family again. Bray gets some good heat during the promo.

6.) Big E. Langston def. Dean Ambrose.

7.) Roman Reigns def. Mark Henry.

8.) John Cena def. Seth Rollins. This was said to have been an excellent match and it closed out the program.

(Dark Match Main Event: John Cena vs. Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Cena wins by DQ.

  12. Spoilers number 2, next week's Smackdown tapes tomorrow. Seems like a good show.

    * WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton opens SmackDown. Orton talks about how he cemented his legacy at TLC by becoming the first WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He says The Authority did nothing to celebrate his accomplishment other than giving him a match with an undeserving troll. John Cena comes out.

Daniel Bryan also comes out to confront Orton. Bryan says Orton is scared to give him a rematch. Bryan says he’s better than Orton. Bryan says when Cena wins the belt, he will finally get his fair shot at the title. Orton says they are both idiots and that will never happen. The Shield and CM Punk also come out. Vickie Guerrero announces that The Authority has ordered The Shield vs. Punk, Cena and Bryan in the main event.

    * Big E Langston vs. Jack Swagger is next. Big E gets a quick win with Mark Henry at ringside.

    * Brie Bella vs. Tamina Snuka is next. AJ Lee is on commentary and Nikki Bella is at ringside. Brie defeated Tamina in a sloppy finish. After the match, Brie approached the announcers table and shoved AJ.

    * A Bad News Barrett segment airs.

    * Sin Cara defeated Drew McIntyre.

    * Brodus Clay comes out with no music to face Tensai. Tensai got the win when Xavier Woods, Cameron and Naomi came out to interrupt. After the match, Brodus attacks Tensai and Xavier makes the save.

    * Erick Rowan and Luke Harper defeated Cody Rhodes and Goldust in a non-title match. After the match, The Wyatt Family goes to attack Cody but Daniel Bryan makes the save to a big pop. Bryan challenges them to a six-man match and doesn’t care about having another match later.

    * Bryan, Goldust and Rhodes defeat The Wyatts in a solid tag team match.

    * Damien Sandow comes out ripping Christmas. The Miz comes out and Sandow defeats him with a quick roll-up.

    * Fandango defeated Kofi Kingston.

    * Daniel Bryan gets taken out backstage by The Wyatt Family so the main event will be Cena and Punk vs. The Shield in a handicap match.

    * Cena and Punk beat The Shield by DQ. The referee called for the bell when all three members were beating on Punk and wouldn’t stop. At the end, Reigns speared Cena and Punk got hit with the triple powerbomb. Big E Langston ran out and made the save, cleaning house to end SmackDown.

A Bryan heavy show it looks like. The Sandow vs Miz match makes no sense, two heels?

  13. Hi, this is a week of spoilery goodness, next week's raw was taped tonight, Smackdown tapes Wed, and next week's Smackdown on Thursday, as WWE shuts down for Christmas.

    * JBL and Michael Cole come out for commentary. No Jerry Lawler.

    * The Authority kicks off RAW and hands out Santa Claus hats to the crowd. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton makes his way out and is given the night off.

    * The first match is a 12 Divas Jingle Bells match with Eva Marie, Natalya, The Bella Twins, Cameron and Naomi vs. Aksana, AJ Lee, Rosa Mendes, Alicia Fox, Tamina Snuka and one other Diva. Natalya gets the win for her team with a Sharpshooter on Aksana.

    * Sin Cara defeated Curtis Axel.

    * There will be two six-man matches tonight. The main event will be CM Punk, John Cena and Big E Langston vs. The Shield.

    * Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. The Wyatt Family is up next. Bryan is crazy over tonight. The Wyatts dominated most of the match until Cody got a hot tag. Goldust comes back in and The Wyatts take turn beating him up. Bryan gets a hot tag and clears the ring.

This is awesome” chants start as Bryan kicks Rowan. They go on and all hell breaks loose. Bray hit Sister Abigail on Cody for the win. After the match, The Wyatts beat up Bryan some more and the lights go out.

    * Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre are out with no Heath Slater. Santino Marella and The Great Khali are out next followed by Xavier Woods and R-Truth. Renee Young is in the ring to host a Christmas Carol contest. Cameron and Naomi are with Truth and Woods. This segment was described as crap. Crowd noise picks the winners. Khali and Santino get the win.

    * Fandango vs. Dolph Ziggler is up next in a “Present on a Pole” match. The winner will get an Intercontinental Title shot on the New Year’s Eve RAW. Fandango gets the win and is the new #1 contender.

    * Darren Young and Titus O’Neil vs. The Usos is up next. Darren Young botched his pre-match promo and said we were in Houston. Fans ate him up. A “this is Austin” and “Houston sucks” chant starts up. The Usos end up getting the win.

    * “Bad Santa” Damien Sandow vs. “Good Santa” Mark Henry in a Battle for Christmas is up next. Christmas trees and presents are put around the ring before the match. Sandow comes out with some Sinister Santa music. They actually wrestle as Santa. They open a present in the ring and it’s a toilet, before fighting up the ramp. Sandow tears up some of the set and takes out a Christmas tree. Henry gets the win and saves Christmas.

    * Los Matadores defeat Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro.

    * Ryback beat Kofi Kingston.

    * Backstage segment with CM Punk and Big E Langston.

    * Bad News Barrett comes to ringside for a promo.

    * The Shield vs. CM Punk, Big E Langston and John Cena is next. Into the match, Big E gets a hot tag from Punk and destroys The Shield. Langston hits the Big Ending on Dean Ambrose but Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns break the pin up. The referee calls for the bell. The babyfaces clean house and celebrate to end RAW.

Too Christmassy for my taste, I wonder if Titus stole Juventud Guerrera's gimmick of misidentifying the city he's in.

  14. If Vince can convince Austin to come back, it would be HHH vs Austin for control of the company. If Austin says no, it will probably be Big Show.

Taker vs Lesnar is almost a certainty to happen. They're not considering anyone else. Ryback's star has fallen so much since he left Heyman, there's no chance for a match with Goldberg now. Possibly Punk vs a heel Daniel Bryan.

  15. Looks like a very good show, and the Daniel Bryan heel turn is still coming.

    * SmackDown kicks off with Randy Orton coming to the ring. Orton says he will prove he’s the greatest champion ever and wants to publicly apologize to The Authority. Daniel Bryan interrupts and says Orton should apologize to us for being a pretend champion. Bryan says he’s the first in line for the new champion and challenges Orton to a match tonight.

    * Fandango vs. Big E Langston is up next with Damien Sandow on commentary. Big E gets the win by pinfall.

    * They show the SmackDown opening in WWE 2K14 style.

    * Bad News Barrett is out next. His bad news is that the WWE Universe is gullible.

    * Kofi Kingston comes out and poses on the turnbuckles until Alberto Del Rio attacks him from behind. There is no match between the two.

    * The Shield cut a promo about who will face CM Punk tonight. It doesn’t look like they all agree but it’s going to be Punk vs. Dean Ambrose.

    * Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel is up next. Axel gets the win for his team after sneaking in a pin.

    * CM Punk vs. Dean Ambrose is up next with no Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns at ringside yet. Punk got the win via GTS. Rollins or Reigns did not interfere.

    * Backstage segment with Rey Mysterio, Zeb Colter, Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro.

    * Tamina Snuka vs. Natalya is up next. AJ Lee is on commentary. Natalya gets the win via pinfall.

    * Rey Mysterio and Big Show defeated Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro. Rey got the pin after jumping from Big Show’s shoulders.

    * They show the latest Michael Cole and Triple H interview.

    * Bad News Barrett comes out again. Good news is there will be one champion at TLC. Bad news is there will be pain in the match.

    * Randy Orton defeated Daniel Bryan by pinfall after hitting the RKO. The Wyatt Family distracted Bryan before the end of the match then Bray Wyatt appeared on the big screen and told Bryan to join them.

  16. On commentary Cole said, Bryan was found wandering around the parking lot after the matches last Monday in a daze. So looking forward what happens to him from there. The main event was very good, great that they gave it plenty of time. CM Punk being moved down the card seems to suit him better than being the lead guy did. Did you catch Titus O'Neal was gonna puke on Colter some more when Colter said, "That's Enough" and walked off.

  17. Sounds like a pretty good show.

    * Randy Orton and Renee Young open the show with an in-ring interview. Orton talks about Survivor Series and is asked about the TLC match with John Cena but ends up walking out in the middle of it.

    * There’s a Thanksgiving food eating contest backstage, hosted by Vickie Guerrero.

    * Mark Henry vs. Curtis Axel is up next. Big E Langston and Ryback are at ringside. Henry gets the quick win.

    * We see the eating contest on the big screen again. Titus O’Neil wins it and earns a singles match or a tag match against Antonio Cesaro later, our correspondent wasn’t sure which. There were other Thanksgiving skits as well.

    * Los Matadores and El Torito vs. 3MB as The Plymouth Rockers in a six-man match is up next. 3MB use The Rockers’ old theme song. At one point, El Torito cleaned house on 3MB. Matadores and Torito get the win.

    * Tensai and Brodus Clay vs. Xavier Woods and R-Truth is up next. Tensai and Clay get the win in another quick match after Clay splashed Woods. Before the match, there was a backstage segment with Clay shoving Woods and saying something about respect.

    * Bray Wyatt cut a promo about Daniel Bryan and said he is safe with him. Wyatt says Bryan entered a man but will leave a monster.

    * CM Punk comes out and is interviewed by Renee Young. He hasn’t heard from Daniel Bryan after being taken by The Wyatt Family and doesn’t know why The Shield attacked him but says maybe they were doing what The Authority told them to do.

    * Antonio Cesaro beat Titus O’Neil by DQ when Darren Young interfered. Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter were also at ringside. After the match, Titus got sick from the eating earlier and pukes in JBL’s cowboy hat and then puts it on Michael Cole’s head. Titus then pukes on Zeb.

    * Goldust and Cody Rhodes defeat Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns by DQ when Dean Ambrose interfered. CM Punk comes out and cleans house on The Shield with a chair. Vickie Guerrero makes it a six-man match.

The lights go out mid-match and The Wyatt Family interferes in the match. All hell breaks loose as The Usos and Rey Mysterio come out. Vickie makes it a twelve-man match now.

The lights go out mid-match and The Wyatt Family interferes in the match. All hell breaks loose as The Usos and Rey Mysterio come out. Vickie makes it a twelve-man match now. They all beat Rey around until Punk tags in and cleans house. The end comes when Rey hits 619 on Erick Rowan and Punk hits him with GTS for the win.

Sounds like an upcoming heel turn for Bryan.

  18. Meltzer now says, they may give away Mania on the network for free if you sign up for it, with price now at $9.95 a month. Getting a ton of sign ups at the launch instead of a cold open. But it's a hugh gamble as many will probably quit the network after Mania airs. The come down on the price makes it a very good deal now. $9.95 instead of $69.95 that strikes me as a hugh gamble.

  19. New Shows added to On Demand:

    Money in the Bank 7-11-13

Cena vs Mark Henry, Ziggler vs Del Rio

    Boston 11-7-87

Randy Savage vs Honky Tonk Man, Ken Patera & Billy Jack Haynes vs Demolition

    ECW 11-20-98

Spike Dudley vs Shane Douglas for the title. Jerry Lynn vs Lance Storm

    Mid Atlantic 12-1-82

Greg Valentine, Piper, Cowboy Bob Orton,

    Prime Time 12-18-89

    Hart Foundation vs Rougeaus
