  1. Huge fan of both guys, and I generally like Cesaro more, but Ishii wins this one. He had the better year hands down. GOTNW explained it perfectly a few posts above.

Only thing I usually dislike about Ishii matches is what I dislike about a lot of Japanese matches - The spot where two guys just stand at each other and trade forearms to the face. When it's done well, it's great, but it often looks bad.

But yeah, Ishii had so many good matches this year.

  2. I did the Pocket Infinity bounty a long time ago by just doing that first servitor room in the Nexus nightfall over and over again. Took me about an hour. I'm sure there are easier ways but I just wanted to get it done.

  3. This one is tough because they both had really good years, but AJ takes this. Last year, I would have said Ricochet easily.

Between the G1 and several other NJ shows, ROH, and a solid Jersey All Pro match against Sydal, Styles was so much fun to watch. Never liked Styles that much before this year, and I can do without the lame "Too Sweet me" Bullet Club stuff, but the guy delivered big time.

Ricochet impressed so much in New Japan that I thought he was a lock to get signed there full time. And his stuff for DGUSA/Evolve was really good too. He had two awesome matches in LU also.

Like I said, both did great this year, but I think Styles had more memorable matches overall. Injuring a few people with the Clash is pretty bad though. That is definitely a big mark against him.

  4. My friend loves his Vita. I don't have one. Not too crazy about handhelds, but I might get one eventually. Would like to play Uncharted. And maybe Tales of Heart R and Freedom Wars. I don't know what the essential games are. I do have a bunch of crossplay games that would probably be more fun to play on the go.

I just got Persona 4 for PS3, but that would have been another get if I bought a Vita. I hear it's better on the Vita too. On the subject of Persona, man, does this game take a long time to get going. 2 hours until the first fight. Persona 3 had a better paced start.

Currently revisiting Shadow of the Colossus as well. Controls and camera take a bit to get used to, but it still holds up pretty well. Beautiful game.

  5. The match was pretty back and forth if I'm remembering it right. I like Maru. But his style has changed mostly because of him being broken down. I thought he stepped it up in the ring around this time.

I actually like Naito too, but yeah, he is usually known for terrible selling and blank stares. But then outta nowhere he'll have a match where his selling is top notch. That's rare though.

  6. Limb selling and psychology and Naito in the same sentence? lolol. That usually isn't the case. Naito has been getting a little better with that though. I disagree with this being better than the Okada matches. I do think though that Okada vs Naito from 2012 is one of the best things ever. Kinda sad how much he's fallen off since that match.

Marufuji hasn't really been a "flip boy" in years. That match was pretty good if I recall.

  7. Xur is all the way to the left side of the Tower, near the Speaker.

He's selling the Heart of Praxic Fire, Universal Remote, Arachnid, some type of Titan gauntlets and a helmet engram.

    Finally got me the Praxic.

  8. Yeah, I came in here to post the same thing.

That's a great move. Just got finished downloading the app again. Deleted it a couple of weeks ago cause I never used it. This saves us all a bunch of time before strikes/raids. Switching guns between your alts can be a nightmare.

  9. I'd like to see Joe vs Del Rio, if ADR isn't already finished with his dates for them.

Jay Briscoe vs Joe with the roles reversed could be good too.

I recently saw Joe vs Chris Hero at a JAPW show, and it was good. Nothing special but pretty fun. Joe was going around saying he can't do hard hitting, old-school ROH style matches anymore. Totally understandable, but he might be motivated to step it up a gear for a match or two.

  10. I need a card before I agree to those prices. Garrett Bischoff will be there, per the poster I saw on Deadspin yesterday. Hopefully the Mets are doing this as a dry run for a Summerslam or something, which would be sick. They moved this years to Barclays Center right??

Stay Gold what was it one of those TNA things in the minor league parks?

I didn't even look at the prices, but I agree. Card needs to be good if it's expensive.

It was ROH at MCU Park that I went to, not TNA at MCU Park.

I'm a huge fan of the old WWC ballpark shows in Puerto Rico, so it was a goal of mine to attend something close to it, since wrestling in ball parks doesn't seem to happen in PR anymore. At least not while I was living there. I do like ROH too, but it was just a bad show.

  11. Professional wrestling returns to Shea Stadium Citi Field

I'm interested, but details are vague at this point. Then again, it's a new announcement, so we'll have a better idea of what's going on soon. The convention aspect doesn't appeal to me at all, but if they get a card going with a mix of younger wrestlers and old-timers, I'd consider it.

My only ballpark wrestling experience was a pretty bad one, unfortunately.
