Bill Brasky returns!!
the Brasky dress rehearsal sketch from Farley's episode in 97 was leaked online. Previously only the bloopers from the sketch were aired on Farley's best of DVD.
here it is: Kind of sad to watch but still hilarious

after a surprisingly fun start this show has basically become unwatchable. John Cena being a chess freak made me laugh pretty hard though
-
Maybe it's just me but I got a real kick out of the AJ/Vickie stuff. Great main event and Rey is going to have a lot of fun working with these guys the next couple months. Fun show

Bryan pinned Orton to win the match
Yup Orton is going over
-
this was a pretty terrific two hours of prowrestling. Del Rio cut a hell of a promo

I really enjoyed the last segment. It woke up a crowd that was lukewarm at best all night. Cena returning so quickly is insane but it's clear they panicked.
Stephanie is starting to enter into Joan Crawford territory. Or Faye Dunaway portraying Joan Crawford. She's doing a good job but it's so...uncomfortbale to watch

The Mooney short at the end was incredible. I like him and Beck Bennett.
Cecily has been pretty lousy on Update so far. Still way early so hopefully she gets better

I actually started watching SNL in 1991-1992 IIRC (either then or the very next season), but I didn't started liking it until the late, late 90s. Maybe it's because I realized Adam Sandler is only tolerable in small doses at an early age.
91-92 is my probably my favorite season of all time. Among SNL freaks 86-93 is generally considered the best years of the show. Even beating out 75-80. Sandler was only a featured player in 91. 93/94 and especially 94/95 is where he started to hog air time

a minor one but it's from one of my favorite movies ever. According to Pete Segal on the Tommy Boy commentary, Roseanne was the original choice to play the waitress in the "Cluck Bucket" scene. She agreed and everything was set up but production ran late and it conflicted with her TV series
-
according to PWI Hunter, Stephanie, and Vince aren't booked for any TV following the Hell in a Cell PPV. Looks like the feud will be blown off at that show if they are right.
Remember Meltz said that after Summerslam Steph would leave TV and it would be Vince and Hunter running things until they eventually turned on each other. Must have changed plans. I'm wondering if Vince is sick or something. he has looked terrible recently

The one person I have done the biggest 180 since this angle started has been Stephanie. She has been so, so great. Everything down to just cadence in which she speaks has been perfect. I enjoyed the show for the most part, but it definitely would have benefited from being cut in length a bit. "The Rhodes brothers are here!" was a damn fap-worthy line.
she has improved ten fold since her initial run. She's still not a great actress by any means but she has definitely improved

Yeah I liked this show. Maybe it was the hot crowd but everything just seem to click even if it didn't make sense

When someone does the Jericho thing to her again, they'll be over huge
I was thinking the same thing. Whoever gets to insult her first is going to get a huge pop. It might be tough in a PG era though. Bryan couldn't even outright call her a bitch a few weeks ago
-
Franco roast was great. Best one in years. Hader and Samberg were great
-
AJ's promo was a certain portion of the writing crew and roster venting through her
I was thinking that. It's the backstage expressing their hatred for the show.
I think this is all leading to Show and Ziggler finally interfering next week. Hope they can still get a pop with that

I just watched the 3/22/99 and they not only had Austin vs. Big Show for the first time ever (with 0 hype) on the go-home show for WrestleMania, Austin pinned Show relatively cleanly (it was a few chair shots and a stunner but the chair shots almost felt normal considering how the match was progressing). That was so much potential money flushed away in a show where the big takeaway was Austin vs. Rock and not really to do with Show.
I remember reading that Vince was surprised at how poorly WCW used Big Show and how Vince just knew he'd use Show so much more effectively. He didn't.
Apparently Austin requested this match and demanded that finish because he saw Show as a threat to his spot. Even though he was the hottest thing in the business he was still paranoid

Just occured to me that the show will be going up against Summerslam next week. More specifically the Bryan v Cena match
-
Eva Marie's engagement will totally be smooth sailing! Can't see anything wrong there
-
I thought it was a real boring episode. Don't know if the average E! viewer is going to get hooked on this show. And Bryan really doesn't own a TV
-
I would agree that everyone came off poorly here but it's freaking reality TV so...if the WWE's goal was to make their performers as irritating as possible they really hit a homerun.
Yup as I mentioned earlier Eva Marie is out of this world hot. But she might be wasted in a PG environment
-
Cena was smooth in that restaurant scene. I wanted to see that one Funkadactyle's boyfriend confront Brodus.you know Kevin Dunn has to be busting a nut watching this
-
from the previews looks like the storyline relationships for the new girls will be Jo Jo/Justin Gabriel and Eva Marie/Fandango.Eva Marie is almost 29. Kind of suprised they signed someone that close to 30. She's incredibly hot but don't know if she can get over in a PG environment
-
looks like they are doing Dolph/Kaitlyn v Langston/AJ at Summerslam. Have no idea what they do with the Shield now

To be honest I was slightly disappointed. The third act is incredible but there were a lot of slow parts that sort of lulled the audience away for a bit. I was happy that Wiig was not featured too much. Rudd, Koechner, and Carell seem to disappear for a while in the second half of the movie. The blind scenes were hilarious
Also the social commentary was a little heavy handed and this is coming from someone who loves South Park more than anything. Not saying I didn't agree with the message but they were really laying it on thick
