  1. The Primetime Players match was really bizarre. Everything about them was different tonight, but the announcers wouldn't come close to mentioning why (even though we all know). Why were the PTP suddenly babyfaces? Why was the crowd so suddenly into Darren Young? Why were they suddenly getting a big win on TV? Of course we know, but they wouldn't address the elephant in the room and it was awkward.

  2. Be A Star Punk...Be A Star.

    Someone struck a nerve.
Yes it did. It reminded me of that skinny little loudmouth douche that would try to pick a fight with you, while he's standing five feet away from the cops. I hate guys like that.
Eh, it wasn't really fair to that guy. But since that kinda shit never happens on WWE, it did get over how pissed off and upset Punk was. So get over it.
  3. I'd say Big Show had a pretty nothing run with the WWE title back in 99 before jobbing it right back to HHH. A bizarre feud with Bossman and then...?

The Bossman feud alone puts him ahead of 95% of champions."Big Show is a big, nasty bastard and his Momma said so!"
  4. Did you prefer John Cena vs. Daniel Bryan or Brock Lesnar vs. CM Punk? Can't go wrong with both, two terrific matches. I prefer John Cena vs. Daniel Bryan, just. The finish to it is my favourite finish to a match this year.Enjoy looking at the rest of the thread, Brian.

I need to rewatch Cena/Bryan because I spent most of it talking to my friends about Punk/Brock.Booker T pissed me off when he interrupted Shawn Michaels' heartfelt and sincere "Thank you" to Brock and Punk.
I was so glad that Booker shouted out to Christian and ADR too. They deserved it. Shawn was like "Oh yeah, them too."
Yeah, I agree, BUT I would have preferred if he didn't step on Shawn to do it. Let it breathe for just a moment.

  6. You know, with HHH, Orton, and Vince likely forming a heel stable of some kind, would it be the worst idea in the world to turn the Shield face by having them save Bryan from a big beatdown? They've been floundering lately and this would be a big boost and it would clear up the heel stable clutter going on with Evolution 2.0 and the Wyatts. It seems like people want to cheer them too, not just based on the chants they get from smart crowds, but their entrance gets a good reaction everywhere. Storyline wise, it totally fits their injustice narrative, and I think the wrestling statute of limitations has expired on them feuding with Team Hell No. Plus I'm trying to think of ways out of this angle that don't involve Bryan and Cena respect-teaming to save WWE or Vince turning face and keeping the focus on him vs. HHH with Bryan and Orton as seconds.

Yes, it would. If Cena's going away for awhile, Bryan needs to be the ONLY babyface involved with this story. One of the things that hurt Punk after Summerslam 2011 was that Triple H was trying to keep himself an equal babyface. Bryan's gotta stand alone.
