I'm a black guy and you couldn't tell 12 year old me or any of my family members who were watching wrestling that Johnny B. Badd was not black.

In his shoot he talks about attending some sort of celebrity event that was predominantly black that he was invited to because they thought he was black.

Weren't you going to stop posting because this place didn't feel like a welcoming community to you?

Then you have the nerve to post some shit defending the open transphobe, which is unwelcoming to members of the community who I miss like Stef the Human.

I wish you would touch grass like you said you were going to do instead of being offended that people have doubts about the shitty transphobe because he did something nice for your friend once. No one cares.

Yea dude you scared the girl away wtf

Rhea tweeted last week that she had a really bad experience and I guess someone followed her out of the airport, which resulted in a bunch of shitty takes like mark madden saying that’s part of your job and I think that’s what all the back and forth was about. Reasonable people vs psychos.

Rhea said she would only sign pictures that are of her and the person so seemingly some neck beard probably asked her to sign his junk or something else just as stupid.

Well today is the for people who love to bitch on Twitter today because it is 2022 OBSERVER AWARDS

    https://wrestlepurists.com/2022-wrestling-observer-awards-results/

I guess the biggest gripe is that the WWE is rated worse than the NWA and Control Your Narrative which is admittingly pretty stupid.

Surprised Konosuke wasn’t all over these.

Also suprised Rumble won worst PPV but then I was thinking of this years when I read that. Was 2022 Rumble the one Shane wanted to win?

People have been using A.I. voice mimicking technology to make short, comedic videos, and two of the ones that have been popular are an argument between 'Roman' and 'Dave' about star ratings, and another series which imagines what a Gorilla Monsoon-hosted podcast would sound like. Warning: very NSFW language!

    Reigns v Meltzer:

The Gorilla Pod (look up Joe Marotta's Twitter to see the rest, I think there's ~7-8 of them in total):

Roman charging up the Superman punch to Dave’s “Noooooooooooooooooooo” kills me every damn time. Give me stars.

Also, yeah, count me in for thinking that whatever "rumor" exists about Cavill is utter bullshit if those rumors even exist. Dude was beloved on the set of both Enola Holmes movies.

And as for him not doing anything because it will break the bank, he's already doing the 40k tv series on Prime. So how does that line up with this notion that he's not going to be doing movies and TV if money is an issue. They're going to be paying him that much to do a 40K series.

Isn’t he bank rolling this show? Not 100% obviously but enough to make sure he has creative input so he doesn’t get in another Witcher situation.

Will be a massive get for Marvel when he does come aboard.

  7. Got the covid so I’m trapped watching TV.

Started watching OG Night Court on frevee and by the second episode they had Michael J Fox on the show.

I remember Carson and Don Cheadle popping up at some point. Such a great show.

i'm an alcoholic, ive said some reprehensible shit in the moment throughout my life.  I've been one for 20 years, the fact that someoe ca judge someone from a statement 10 years ago is disgusting.

I'm so happy Mark is going to be on AEW tomorrow night, but i also hate it that it wasntwith his brother.

Keep in mind the same people that didn’t want the Briscoes on TV are fine with whatever Erza Miller is up to these days.

I can’t believe that story has survived so long on life support. The story about Sting being out of shape is nothing but something Hogan came up with, that Eric has stuck with over the years because of course his biggest fear is not being Hogan’s 4 in line when he wants something to duck his d*^%.

Say Sting looking like crap is true...ok...lies are often fabricated from the truth of another matter. Gaslighting, leaving 1 or 2 things off the table. That doesn’t make the lie being told into the truth. It just didn’t matter. Sting had to win. Hogan didn’t want him to and that’s that.

And like I said in the Montreal thread...if I could mash a button and bet on a race around the building between Sting and Hogan that night in 1997 I’m betting all the money in my pocket on Sting. And if anybody wanted to give me a loan I wouldn’t need to be persuaded much to bet on Hogan needing an ambulance halfway through the race. It’s not like that had ever been a standard for being champion anyway. Maybe it should have been, but that’s another discussion. The last champion who was both in shape and physically attractive was actually Sting...7 years ago. Jeeze we’d seen people wearing that belt who looked like they were about to die like Flair when he was sick in 1991, a man suffering from a disease (The Giant), Vader who was...Vader. Now hold on...I love those guys and I’m not judging them. I’m just showing how incredibly stupid that story is that Hogan came up with. And Hogan. Yeah Hogan was also champion on days where he could barely walk to the ring with his knee.

I’m with you. The tan thing is kind of laughable when you consider he painted his face and the only thing his gear exposed was his arms and some of his chest and neck.

I think the thing that may be true is Sting’s condition but I think that became more of a convenient truth for Hogan to justify his politics.

I never understood the "Man in a Suit" complaint applying to Iron Man 3, because I took it as, Iron Man 1 concludes with Stark (in power armour) vs Stane (in bigger power armour). Iron Man 2 concludes with Stark & Rhodes (both in power armour) vs Vanko (in bigger power armour). Iron Man 3 concludes with Stark (in and out of various suits of power armour) vs Killian (not even wearing a shirt). It's different.

Didn’t he blow up all his suits at the end of IM3? Not disagreeing with your point just feel like I might be misremembering such nonsense.

Lol, you probably didn’t mean this as a suggestion, but I took it as one.  Ordered spare “clickers” for my vehicles this AM.  That incessant chiming is annoying.

I used to be religious about seatbelt safety, but I had surgery about six years ago and didn’t heal up quite right from that.  Left me with some scar tissue on my right side and clipping in the seatbelt can actually cause me pain on that side.  So I got out of the habit of buckling up and now rarely do it.  I don’t recommend it, but i do it anyway and am reasonably comfortable with not buckling up.  The fine for not wearing your seatbelt is $25 in our state.  Honestly, that’s not much of a deterrent.  Probably needs to be 10 to 100 times thot if they want to deter anybody.

Tbh I kind of hesitated for that reason but it is your life and your choice how you live it. Glad I could “help” 😅

If you haven't seen it already, try and give Showdown In Little Tokyo a watch. It's a buddy cop movie with Dolph Lundgren and Lee in one of his first roles by the director of Commando. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa plays a Yakuza enforcer because of course he does, and there's a young Tina Carrere too.

I should spoiler this but let’s be honest THIS is what the movie is truly known for.

Why did I waste 30 seconds watching that?

    Click bait?!

Anyways since Vince can’t retcon Taker’s streak he may as well have Nick Khan go over Roman once he finishes brokering this deal that’s going to put Vince on top of the company and a giant heap of cash to pay off people for an eternity.

"Whom would you collect DNA from to make your Wrestling Serpentor" sounds like an interesting topic, though in practice I'm not sure the answers would differ meaningfully from "Who's on your Wrestling Mount Rushmore" and similar questions we've fielded in the past.

Sgt. Slaughter is an obvious choice.

  15. Rip Don.

Never forget that line about how Taylor Wilde was the girl you bring home to mom and Daffney was the one you run off with while you leave Taylor with your mom.

Tenay’s follow up of where does that leave Awesome Kong and Don rattling off hopefully with you was harsh but still funny.

Complete and utter nonsense because people still took that route with Swole after she and Khan made their comments. Many fans also targeted her comments for claiming Tony Khan was racist even though she never even said that.

Knew their was one last gimmick I forgot to put on ignore.

The gimmick that keeps on giving!

My favorite part about these TK haters is they use info that is the literal definition of grasping at straws and even then they have to twist it to make him look like the bad guy in the situation.

If Tony Khan had not said anything in response to Swole the same people would be on here talking about how he is weak for letting ex employees talk shit about him and not responding.

I mean it’s nice not to have a forum full of TK dick riders but at least come with some valid criticisms. Maybe try watching some highlights or something like a promo Joe compilation or botchamania since the product is too hard for you to stomach in it’s normal form.

There is a reason I haven’t been around here much, don’t read wrestling websites, and stopped listening to wrestling podcasts. It stopped being fun, and it ruined my enjoyment of watching Dynamite. I just came back to see the reactions to this past weeks main event, because that felt like a contender for all-time tv classic. I don’t really need to hear what an old contrarian(Cornette) has to say about the match, or it’s participants anymore.

edit: Funny I just checked another place I haven’t been to in awhile, and still the same fucking broken record bitch fest. Why is it that lucha is the only thing I can follow with news coverage, and it doesn’t bother me?

After TK bought RoH and especially after the Punk thing happened the gimmick posters came out of the woodwork and basically took advantage of the laid back mentality of the board as a whole to brigade this sub with their nonsense.

I actually almost did the same thing as you but I realized just put the gimmicks on ignore and I can see what the people who actually come for real discussion have to say.

So, Ron mother fucking Smoorenburg finally set up a YouTube channel last year and posted some of his movie / television show fights and stunt work online.

In case you live under a rock and don't know who he is....

I feel like I remember a thing where Jackie talked about how this dude was awesome but they couldn’t get him to “screen fight” aka pull his strikes so Jackie really is defending himself and taking full strength shots from him. Either way amazing scene and I love this movie even though I remember a lot of hardcore KF peeps back in the day not liking it.

Sadly, I think people look down upon Shida and her title run because of the pandemic era, and also you had commentators denigrating her like she's only in the position she's in because of Kenny Omega and not because she's a good worker and doesn't work hard. Jim Cornette trashed her in the most vile fashion after she beat Serena Deeb.

Firstly Fuck Jim Cornette. Sorry no offense to you the poster just always wanted to do that.

Secondly Shida actually wasn’t ready for the push she got but to her credit she put in the work every show and improved to a point that made it all worth it.
