Jacksonville's impenetrable pass defense really is great on deep stuff but they're really vulnerable to short passes.

Flacco parlayed one epic playoff run into a top QB contract and a long career as starter. Bortles wins a couple more games and he'll never have to worry about his job again.

Bortles isn't as bad as Tebow, so no. This is far worse than losing to David Garrad, tho.

All I can say is I'm happy the Steelers are only 14 down after playing as bad a half as they possibly could.
Win or lose, Todd Harry needs to go.

Only because of apparent masochistic tendencies, I saw the first four (?!?) TF movies in theaters. I finally held my ground with this last one. But I did rent the DVD over Christmas and, well, it wasn't the worst of the series. There were a couple decent sequences and it's worth seeing just for Anthony Hopkins devouring scenery in one of the greatest give-no-shits check cashing performances ever.
The irony of the TF series is everybody blamed the 2nd one's chaotic nonsensical story on the WGA strike yet *every* movie since the first has been similarly schizophrenic. I did think the 3rd one was pretty good, tho, so I'd say they made two decent flicks.

I love that these are supposedly an all star crew of officials yet it took an emergency call from the home office in New York to let them know there's a 10 second run off with that penalty.

Nobody has played defense in this game. Only Carolina settling for field goals has kept it from being it a true shoot out.

The Landry Jones led Steelers are favored by 14 over the Browns. After watching the first two series, I think that might've been set too low.

I've never rooted for a player to make the NFL like I'm hoping Wisconsin's kicker gets a shot. He's the Jared Lorenzen of kickers.

Finally saw this last night. Man was this awful. I had no idea the RT audience numbers were at prequel levels but it makes sense since this was as bad as any of the prequels.
It amazes me people ragged on TFA over Rey being a Mary Sue when she's an even bigger one in this movie. She's a better Jedi than Luke, a better pilot than Han, a spunkier leader than Leia, she can master the Force in a week and kicks Kylo's ass every time they fight... There is nothing to her except Disney marketing another character along side Merida, Anna, Repunzel, etc.
The Finn stuff was terrible. They literally took a joke Kevin Smith made in Clerks about contractors building the Death Star and made that an entire subplot. You know what I never ever not once said to myself? "These Star War movies are great and all but I'm really bothered they never explored where the Empire buys their TIE Fighters."
The Luke stuff was great and I'm happy Hamill decided to bring his fastball to his last trip to the mound. I'm sorta glad the original three have bowed out now (I mean, I wish Carrie Fisher hadn't passed but I'm glad they plan to write Leia out) because this isn't my Star Wars anymore so I'd rather they go in their own direction without further mucking up the original. I totally understand now what Lucas was saying about this no longer being his story when asked about TFA.
