  1. I bend over backwards to avoid spoilers for the weekly tv but I can guess a few. I also appreciate the shit out of the posters here for respecting that fact and using spoiler windows.

With that said, I could probably guess at least five of the matches right now.

  2. Nice to see the love for Nia/Bayley. I agree that this is the best Nia has looked so far. I've been waiting for Bayley to put her over for awhile now as I get the feeling she's on her way out ("up") to the main roster soon. I really want to see Nia work a stiff, snug brawl with Asuka.

Aries vs. Joe in Spokane was king sized. The TNA stink seems to be finally washing off. If we're about to get Austin vs. Nakamura, I'm a very happy camper.

If you needed any further proof that NXT is booked like an 80s territory here you go.  And that's freaking awesome.

Goddamn right. NXT is exactly what I've wanted since JCP went out of business. God I missed this stuff. I never thought I'd find myself praising Triple H for much of anything but NXT is pretty much wrestling heaven for me right now. Great live, great weekly tv, off the charts good specials. Yup...I'm all in.

  4. We got Joe/Aries in Spokane Saturday night and it was a straight up war. They went 15-17 minutes that saw a VERY close near fall after the 450 splash. Austin looked great and Joe was fucking KING SIZED. In other news, Alexa (vs. Asuka) and Nia (vs. Becky) looked better than I've seen them look. Nia borrowed heavily from Sasha's "CRY CHILDREN, CRY" playbook. If I remember right, Bayley won with a cross body from the top. Alexa looked like a legit threat. Her offense was good if not great and sold like a champ. Great show all the way around and easily the best wrestling show I've seen live.

I'm not sure I buy that WWE needed to toss all the PPV's on the Network. There's still a lot of money in PPV if you know how to promote. I prefer UFC's more reasonable approach to a streaming service where they're gradually building it up and it's there if they need it for more.

I don't think you can say they're way ahead of the curve with their streaming service without some context. What do you mean by that? The major league sports all have streaming services and most of them are miles ahead of WWE when it comes to the quality and functionality of their live streams.

    BUT MAGGLE! 9.99!!! MAGGLE, THAT'S A STEAL!!!

  6. You'll be in my thoughts, Red. My Mrs. is an expert in child sexual abuse and is used by the state of Idaho as an expert witness in such cases. If there's anything you'd like me to ask her I'd be happy to. There is no good news here other than your daughter not showing any outward signs of abuse. Hang in there. There are a bunch of nerdy wrestling fans in this side of the pond pulling for you!

  7. This was a good to very good show. If you took everyone with the last name McMahon out of the show it would have been fantastic. I agree with the the praise for Roman here. He looked like the bruiser he should absolutely be booked as. Also, I fucking hate JBL. I want him gone so badly I can feel it in my teeth.

  8. I'm a 42 year old guy who has seen death up close and has already lost a brother, a step-brother, and my dad, so the celebrity thing usually hits, then moves on. However, this one is just lingering...like a three day old gut punch that just keeps hurting, Goddamn what a loss.
