  1. Fuck you, Death. Lost a co-worker today. She was a sweet older lady. She had health issues, but still not expected. You spend years working side by side with people and whether you like it or not, they become extended family.

    Rest in peace, Lina.

  2. No Iron Monkey love? Two votes for Hearts of Darkness?

    I'm done.

But who is going to keep us updated on the countdown? I'll personally apologize for not giving Iron Monkey a vote, as I'm a fan. But in all honesty, it would have been at the bottom of my list, below the Yuen Woo-ping film that I did vote for, which I doubt is showing up here.

  3. Jane made a clear, conscious decision to join her boyfriend in his self-pity party. Her major crime is convincing Jesse he should get all of his money so they could keep the party going.  Of all the characters on this show that have deserved to die, she is pretty low on the list.  #1 is always going to be Walt.

And yeah, the Walt-Skyler phone-call was pretty amazing. We'll have to wait and see how far it goes towards absolving Skyler because the previews for next week suggest otherwise. And Marie knows better anyways.

    292) TWISTER

    1996 - 123 Points - 2 Votes (Highest: #33 Rippa)

    DIRECTOR: Jan de Bont

STARRING: Helen Hunt, Bill Paxton, Cary Elwes

    Placement On Original List: N/A

    IMDB

    ROTTEN TOMATOES (58%)

    WIKI

Note From Rippa - Y'all suck. Except CSC... he has amazing taste in movies.

The reasons behind your fondness for my ballot are quickly becoming clear.

I eagerly await the highest of the "just the two of us" votes.

Yeah, you guys are building sandcastles in the sky. Once Were Warriors is my only hit this round. I fall into the two groups that didn't participate last time around and have never seen Philadelphia. It was on my watch list, but ran out of time. Never seen Twister. Probably never going to happen.

  5. Living in Oblivion is the first movie that I truly feel like a dunce for leaving off my ballot. Now I'm mad at myself, and feel like I should apologize to Jingus for making his number 3 film fall so low.

Considering the fact that I'm the one who pushed two of his top 10 through, I'm a little disappointed that we haven't yet seen these much talked about write-ups. :)

Wait, am I the only one who wants to see Walt get his comeuppance?

    No.

I may be a bad person because I'm really hoping the last shot of the finale is Walt's body crammed into one of those 55 gallon barrels, about to be buried in the desert.

After she suggested that Walt off Jesse since he (Walt) has done done so much evil already, I'm ok with bad things happening to Skyler too.

His dissolved in a barrel body, buried in the desert, would wrap up the whole Ozymandias theme very nicely.  And I don't get the Hank hate at all. Goofy rule-bending cop maybe, but the guy is the best brother-in-law ever.

  7. Thanks for doing this, Rippa!

    323) CRONOS

    1993 - 103 Points - 2 Votes (Highest: #47 Natural)

I like the story and particularly the atmosphere of Cronos. A really good feature film debut for Guillermo del Toro..

I totally would have voted for Cronos had I remembered to add it to my initial list. I'm sure I will feel that way a few more times.

Vader vs. Springsteen would fucking rule.

But would Vader agree to lay down and do the job for the Boss?

After a ref bump, the Boss is down and about to eat a Vader Bomb when Jon Landeau, potentially the greatest Heel Manager ever, waves out the Big Man. As those two Titans do battle, Bruce rolls out and reaches underneath the ring and pulls out....a mike stand!  Thundercrack!!!! An unconcious Vader is easy prey for a Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out and the pin.

Not for nothing, but those KTMA episodes are pretty bad.  The show became so much better when they started scripting it.

Either season 1 or 2(proper) had one of my all time favorite jokes, but I can't remember the film.

Guy in the movie: "Hey, I don't want any trouble" *picks up pipe wrench*

Crow: "So I'm gonna come at you with this pipe wrench"!

    Also....

    "What do you know, Trumpy"?

    "Food.  Eating.  Theatre".

Pod People.  Also the home of the Potato Soliloquy.

I remember Pod People.  It's probably a top 10 episode for me, the Potato bit was so great.  The other movie I can't remember for shit.

I agree that the show stayed strong no matter what the cast was.

I'm not saying I disliked Mike...I watched those ones too.I'm just saying he's weak cheese.... as Tom Servo definitively answers at 2:14
