His attire isn't bad but it's definitely a step down from his Shield gear. Should have stuck to that.

The next big indy guy shaking hands with HHH should be Timothy Thatcher
Let's start spamming Regal's twitter with his matches.
-
I think I saw 5 or 6 Anderson matches from the G1 this year. It was the usual - boring start and middle followed by goofy reversal heavy finishes. His best match was against an injured Ishii and Ishii was clearly the better guy in that match. Being better than Shelton and Lance Archer doesn't exactly mean much.

I think he meant it's shocking that they wanted him.
He's really dull IMO but maybe Albert put in a good word.
-
I don't think he was lazy but in 2005 they basically gave him the "he's not a good wrestler but he's a tough kid" gimmick. There's this triple threat wih Angle and Michaels from 2005 where Cena gets taken out early and most of the match is Michaels vs Angle. Finally Cena pops up, hits the FU on Michaels and it's over. That whole year was filled with this kind of absurd booking that gave Cena a reputation with smarks that he's only recently recovered from.

Yeah he was. But there's clearly this perception all over the internet that Mr Perfect had a lot of really good/great matches in WWE and like Matt D said, the matches just aren't there.
Because he was entertaining as fuck?As somebody who only started watching 80s/early 90s stuff about 5 years ago, I couldn't understand why so many people regarded WWF Curt Hennig so highly. It really is night and day between his WWF and AWA runs.
Seriously, go to wrestlingforum or Reddit's wrestling section and see how most people there view him without ever seeing his AWA stuff.

The Shield's whole run. It's kind of incredible how well they booked them for 1.5 years.
-
The opening of the show was described as "pyro and ballyhoo" on the leaked Raw scripts. Maybe it's a Vince McMahon phrase.
-
Why couldn't Swagger beat Del Rio?
-
Sheamus kind of had the same problem on ECW before they put him up against Goldust, so they should do the same with the Ascension.
-
KENTA got over by working stiff. WWE seem to encourage certain wrestlers working stiff so that might not be a problem for him.
-
WWE wrestlers today don't build to big spots?
-
Pokemon is still really popular and the crossover between Pokemon players and WWE fans is probably very high. I say bring in KENTA as a trainer with his Scyther (Devitt in lime green bodypaint) and Snorlax (Steen).
That's another great trio right there.

Is it really too much to ask for someone in Japan to fancam the WWE shows and post them on YouTube
Last year some really good quality footage of the Japan shows showed up on Youtube. Almost complete shows. We could get them this year but they get taken down quickly.

Thee crowd went into random chant mode for a long Bryan-Orton match back in January or February too. It doesn't have anything to do with how over the wrestlers are. It's just something that a lot of fans are going to want to do in the middle of a long-ish match these days.
-
Reigns has had singles matches with Kane and short matches with Mark Henry. I see no reason to think that he wouldn't have strong singles matches with Bryan, Cesaro, Cena, Sheamus, Ambrose or Rollins.
Consistently good performances in tag matches have to count for something.
-
Brock should beat Cena in a non-title match at Summerslam and the night after have Heyman announce that Brock has been given a world title shot at Wrestlemania.
-
Bray should win if Bryan will definitely be ready by Summerslam.
-
The high angle DDT too, which should probably be his finisher.
-
It's more of a problem for comedy characters than say, Sheamus, because they are more limited in ring.
-
If Solomon Crowe gets released before he even debuts...

Devitt has an amzing knack for picking out the shittiest "edgy" comics characters to cosplay as. I'm guessing Deadpool is next?

And there's your Miguel Herrera gif.

They could've had them pursuing their own feuds while staying a group. Reigns can still go after Orton and HHH but he can also continue to have the 6 man Shield tags on TV which make him look good. Rollins winning the IC title and defending against Cesaro and Barrett would be a good direction for him. And you could put Ambrose in a blood feud with Bray Wyatt, which would definitely be better than what Bray's doing now. Then later you can have them go after Lesnar.
It just seems so easy to me to keep booking these guys as a group until at least next Mania season.
