Something that's been on my mind for awhile ...
Everyone gives Paul Heyman shit for being a liar/conman/whatever.
Why do guys like Lawler and Jerry Jarrett get a pass though? I've never seen any guy take either of them to task considering they robbed alot of guys blind, conned and lied to alot of guys just as badly, and probably over a longer period of time, as Heyman did.

Is that Heenan he's throwing salt at? That's ... weird ... I thought Fuji had gone into managing by the time Heenan arrived ... and I don't remember Heenan doing commentary till sometime after he came in.

I've always been fascinated with this topic too, and just have two visual tidbits to share:
-Recently referenced on Konnan's podcast, Animal tried to really play up his Road Warrior roots during a 2006 run. I vaguely recall him wrestling in black leather with no paint, but never saw him sport this cosplay jacket.
-You mentioned Demolition but it's worth noting they basically dressed exactly like Humongous from the neck down, even more apparent when they rocked their entrance mask, which was the coolest thing I had seen as a 7-year old.
I always thought of Demolition as being more inspired by the rising tide of heavy metal (maybe even death metal) in the US at the time.

I must say this: I love the music that BJW plays over their versus screens. It fits the whole BJW style and gets you amped for a hard, mean match.
